Okay..I get it! I was 20 and pretty naive so even if they did have them obviously my dr didn't use them and I didn't know what I was in for with labor because my male OBGYN said it was like bad stomach cramps...

Good morning forum friends! I don't know if I could wake up to someone this "happy" first thing in the morning...but I thought it might bring a smile to some of you like it did to me. Thinking of Ike this morning and wishing I could wake up and drink my coffee to a new story from him thsi morning. Sure do miss him and the way he had of sharing with us. Tomorrow I'm off to the beach in Florida with some of my Family. We are going to be packed in my daughter's van like sardines and I'm not looking forward to 6 or more hours of this...but I am looking forward to a few days digging my toes in the sand, listening to the music of the waves coming into the shore and the watching the joy on my grandkids faces as they enjoy their time at the beach as only children can. I hope I get some great pictures to share with all of you. And I hope God blesses this time with my daughters and grandchildren and gives me many more cherished memories to add to the collection that is already stored in my heart. May your day be filled with peace, good health, and lots of reasons to smile.

A very good morning to you my friends, it's 7:30 am on a sunny Wednesday here. We are off to a cemetery where Lisa's parents and other relatives are buried, to do some planting of flowers and general maintenance of the graves. It's in a forest about 40 minutes from here by metro and bus. Have a great day....
It is a sweet morning for me and I hope it is for all of you too. I'm up way to early as usual but I'm so excited we are leaving for 5 days on the beach today that I just can't sleep anymore. Wish I could take all of you with us too. It's been a while since I've been to the beach with my grandkids and this will be the first time I've been with our two youngest grandbabies and I'm so looking forward to capturing with my camera some of their joy as well as capturing memories we will all be making together. I always store those memories in my heart, but it will be nice to know I'm leaving photos to remind the grandkids, etc. of family time together too. The added blessing to this time at the beach will be that I will get to see four of my sisters too while we're there. Hopefully they will all have enough time to come spend a day at the beach with us and share a meal with us. And I'll have one of my daughters capture a picture of all of us together because this is something that happens as often anymore either. I'm so thankful for the blessing of my Family (as most of you know ) and for this time we are going to have together. May your day be blessed with the joy of those you love too.
A little late but I'm still very grateful...just got these beautiful flowers from my son for Mothers Day. They are from Amazon and they did a good job of keeping them fresh in the fedex truck all morning...I just got the delivery at about 1:30 PM here.
