Wow... Great view... Once Ireland was on my list, and 2 years ago my dream came true. Wales and Scotland are still there - but not for a long time...
I know what you mean, Chrissy!!! I simply hate summer time. Specially in the south of Brazil, where people think it's cold all the time. The summer can reach 40C - around 104F - very easily. It's hell! There are mosquitoes, it's stuffy, people get crazy, play loud music in cars and I have to turn the air conditioning on 24/7 - can't sleep either. Thank God it's fall now - the temperature is half or a bit less. However it's been raining heavily for 5 days, huge thunderstorms, and there are people who have left their home due to the floods. Anyway, I'm sure if must have been chaos.
Sorry about my 'lots' of 'likes' and late answers, but I'm updating the news from last week and everything looks great: the pictures, the news, your humour, and I'm having lots of fun here. It's 8:30 and I 'm still in bed reading your posts. Have been doing that for more than a hour. Have a GREAT Sunday, everyone!
My grandfathers and my father, my Uncles, etc. are all now departed from this earth but they are all men who served and fought to keep America free qne our Family is very thankful that they all came back home and died natural deaths in their old age. We now have Nephews and two daughter-in-laws, and a son-in-law who have served our Country to help protect our freedom. We are blessed that all of them came back home safe and sound. Right now we have one Nephew that is serving overseas in defense of our freedoms. So Memorial Day isn't just another day to any of my Family and even though we may grill and enjoy each other's company during this weekend we are also missing the one/ones who aren't with us and there is always a prayer in our hearts for all those who have fought, are fighting and for all those who have laid down their lives so that we can continue to live in a Country where freedom lives too. To all those who have served, are serving and to all those who have lost loved ones who served our Country, thank you and may God bless and keep all of you in His tender loving care.
Good morning to you all, it's 8:00 am and we are getting ready to go out by taxi to the oldest church in Russia, which should be interesting. It's cloudy here today and possible rain showers later, hopefully we will miss them... Enjoy your Monday........
Drip drip drip - drives you crazy doesn't it We have just fixed that drip, replacing valves I watched and made mental notes, in case I have to do this one day So, hello everyone Xx
It was hot here yesterday afternoon, but we went to the Range anyway. Wife is learning more how to handle/shoot the 9mm. She has no problem with the .22. I was doing pretty good hitting clays with the shotgun. She loves to shoot and can reload a clip as well. But, did come home pretty exhausted. Watched the Memorial Day Concert from Washington D.C. last night. As in every year, it was great. I put out our flags this morning.
