There was lots of humidity in the Midwest also...I'd rather have it 100 + and dry like we are then 85 and humid. I forget how horrid humidity can be living here for 13 years now. We're not as dry as Arizona but close enough.
Yes. There were times in northeastern Indiana, it got pretty humid. Florida is well known for it's tropical and humid summer weather. That's why we aren't out much in the afternoons during the summer months. Wife has a girlfriend that lives in Anaheim, Calif. that tells us that she could never live in humidity like is here. Heck, we can't even get her to come and visit.

Sadly Lisa's cough is still ongoing though it seemed to improve for a day....I have tracked down a possible health food shop here, so we will go and investigate.... I hope you are all well, . Good Morning. Little House on the Prairie is one of my favorite TV series. I think one of the reasons I enjoyed those shows so much was that I could always imagine myself fitting into the era of time just fine. I love these two paintings of the Pioneer Days and I can just see myself sitting on that wagon seat and with my hands steadying the plow. A good painting is just like a good book to me...when you can feel you are there...it's great! We're getting rain between the sunshine these past few days. Everything is blooming forth so beautifully this year, it's a year to be thankful for sure. Have a great day everyone.

I am up early this morning, too. Chipper started squalling like he was being throttled about 4 this morning, so I jumped out of bed and ran to see if he was okay. He was just sitting there looking at me and waiting to go outside........... silly little dog ! When he makes that sound, it always sounds to horrible that I think something awful is happening to him; but it is always just his way of getting my attention immediately. Bobby is up now, too, and made some coffee; so we are both getting woke up and having our morning coffee together. I made bulletproof coffee for myself. I had fallen out of the habit of adding the coconut oil, and it didn't take long before I started noticing the lack of energy, and having pain in my joints again; so I am going to get back on the coconut oil program again.

Yesterday after I pulled up my penta and bush lantana plants from our old flower bed I placed them in the sunny bedding where the rose bushes are. They are in pots right now that my Honey was going to do the right way when he got home from work. But it was grocery truck delivery day at the store yesterday and the truck was late so my Honey worked late too and was to tired when he got home to do any repotting. But he also saw where I had placed my pots in the rose bed and told me there is plenty of room to plant my penta and bush lantana right in that bedding. So today he will not be repotting my plants but planting them in the ground with the roses. I checked out our tomato plant yesterday and we have 7 tomatoes growing on it right now. One will be ripe in a few days and the four I have already picked were so yummy I can hardly wait for some more to ripen. I also checked the bell pepper plant and found at least 5 baby bell peppers that look like they will "grow up" for us. I thoroughly enjoyed my gardening time outside yesterday. Allergy problems keep me indoors alot of the time and with my irregular heart beats any medications I take for these allergies can cause more of those palpitations. So I can't take them every day anymore and my outside time is very limited if I don't want to come down with respiratory problems. So my outdoor time yesterday was a special blessing to me. I hope every one experiences a special blessing in their day.
