I know that I've mentioned it elsewhere but, to avoid confusion for those who may be reading this thread, I thought I'd mention that the forum now does allow members to change their name one time, so if someone creates an account using a handle, they can change it to a First Last name format. As the administrator, I can also do that for you, but I prefer you do it for yourself. Thanks.
In a private message, someone seemed to assume that I was making money from this forum. I suppose that's a reasonable assumption because there are a lot of people who would never consider doing anything without monetary reward but if you look around, you will soon see that this forum is not monetized in any way. Whether you are logged into the forum or not, there are no ads, and no one is being charged for participating. I do have a link on the bottom of the page for those who might like to help to pay the bills, and I have received some contributions through that, but the bulk of the expenses are paid for by myself. At some point, I might include ads that would no longer be visible once someone has logged into a member account, but probably not. This forum doesn't cost me a fortune, and it's worth it to me because I enjoy it. There's no catch, and no ulterior motives that have anything to do with making money.
Hi Ken, I did miss the fact that I was supposed to use my first and last name. So I can expect my account to be deleted. I will rejoin and sign up correctly. I'm so sorry.
I'm guessing that you figured out how to change your name, as you are using an acceptable member name right now. Whether you signed up for a new account or changed the name on your old, I'm glad you made it in. Welcome to the forum.

That's okay, as lurking is allowed, but please feel free to jump in on the discussions whenever you're ready. Everyone has something to share, and we'd like to get to know you. I try to welcome everyone to the forum but I don't cheat, like some people do, and have some automated thing that sends welcome messages to every new member, so I might miss someone every now and then, and I apologize for that.
