Fine but when I see what most would consider a hate post against an identifiable group I will respond. As to 'obsessed by race." If you read my link I reinforced the position that there is no such thing as a race.
If a post that denigrates a billion plus people in numerous countries is acceptable here I am surprised as such can cause a forum to be shut down if someone reports same.
Also a poster might be charged.

I am strongly against censorship but just as strongly against purveyors of disinformation that encourage hate of an identifiable group.

If such is posted I will respond and my 'name calling' is directed at the subject post a false piece denigrating Muslims.

Then it doesn't make sense to accuse people of being racist.

I'm not sure where you're from, but I live in the United States. I like it here.

    That's Canada.

    Really?

For the record, as defined in the U.S. Constitution, censorship is a limitation on the power of government, not individuals or privately operated forums. Our censorship laws were never intended to give one individual the right to shut another individual up. Again, if anything makes you feel uncomfortable, you do not need to participate. You are here voluntarily.

Tell him, Ken!! However, in defense of him, I think most of us are guilty of letting our mouths get away with us. But, still.

I don't want people to get the idea that they should be ashamed of being afraid of people we're at war with. Quite frankly, I don't think that we should have interfered in the Middle East, but no one asked or particularly cared about my opinion. For that matter, in the emotional heat following 9/11/01, I was in favor of lashing back at someone. I think we may have chosen the wrong people, and suspect there was a large degree of opportunism involved in that decision, but the facts are that we are at war with people who are almost entirely Islamic, so it makes sense to be suspicious of them.

Does that mean that all Muslims are evil people? Of course not. I know Muslims who I do not consider to be evil people, but I don't know if they would be considered good Muslims by those who are raping and killing people all over the world.

It's interesting that in today's political climate, we are supposed to hate Russians, to blame them for everything, and to be suspicious of anyone who has ever spoken to a Russian, but we are supposed to greet Muslims with open arms, and not fear them in the least bit, this despite the fact that both the United States and Russia have a common enemy, and they are Islamic.

I don't walk around worrying about being killed by a Muslim, but then I live in central Maine. I know people in southern Maine who do worry about these things, and I know of a couple of dead ones who probably should have been concerned.

If it is true, as they say, that only a tiny percentage of those who adhere to Islam are terrorists, then it should be no problem for the larger percentage to shut them down. But they don't. It's in their hands.

Long winded and only partially true. While the term "race" in relation the segmentation of humans based on biological traits is more of a western standard ( late 17th century) it is still a standard by which we are all known.
To be more precise in those standards one would have to dissect the terms "phenotypical" and "polymorphism" in all of their classic and quantum constructs as it applies to each human.

Caucasians as well as those considered Asian, Black and others are genetically grouped together but by the same token are separated by genetic code as well into phenotypic groupings. Each grouping shares a common bond or bonds such as skin color, bone and other anatomical similarities which I call a specific genetic dynamic.

At the present day and time, each individual can indeed be decoded in order to properly identify the populous on a singular basis but in light of expediency.............The terms denoting a particular grouping especially as it is concerned by skin color is, for now, A FLIPPIN' RACE!

I don't see anything wrong with the video. I also don't know all that much about religion or the bible but I do believe there are things in the bible like being put to death if you work on the Sabbath, something about being OK to sell your daughter. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't live by following the bible and in modern times people seem to pick and choose what they do want to follow and of coarse some things are not considered relevant. But for Muslims are things followed more literally? I don't know for sure but it may be. They do kill one another so the 'love all Muslims' isn't working out.

Off topic but that woman has a very calming voice to listen to.
