Good morning to you on another Monday...another week.....the same life...... .....it's a dull one today and not forecast to brighten up... I will return to pruning the yard that goes on forever..... I hope the new week ahead turns out to be a good one for you... I slept well last night so that's a good start.... Something for everyone here.....hopefully ...
Yes a lot of people have mentioned that @Ina I. Wonder , but I don't see it myself, though oddly on one of my daughter's iPhone apps, which reverse the face image and hair, I could see the likeness...
Thank you @Babs Hunt I like your images and others that are posted on here as well, I feel they brighten up our lives, I think I am lucky, certainly healthwise, to be able to travel so much at the my age, so passing on some of my experiences makes it seem more worthwhile to me as well....
Good morning, World. Awoke to lightning flashing in between and around the blinds. Looks like more rain on the way. @Terry Page Turned on the computer to find all these photos staring back at me. Good pictures. Some stand out more than others in my un-coffeeed mind. That picture of of the man with the long bow and an arrow, not dead center but in the target some good distance away. That, at onetime, was my thing, target shooting. I mostly used a recurve, but every time I see someone shooting or a photo of someone shooting bows, it brings back warm memories.
@Cody Fousnaugh Terry's in the UK and 8 hrs ahead of us, so maybe the incident hadn't happened yet in NC or they weren't aware or don't care what the US does anyway...plus it's just a reanactment. There are probably many similar ones going on other places. Edit: 8 hrs ahead of me. Think only 5 hrs ahead of you on the east coast.
As @Chrissy Cross said I am in the UK and a different time zone, but the re-enactment had no connection with politics and in any battle that involves WWII the swastika would be involved, I am sorry if anyone was distressed by a photo of the flag or the German costumes, but I wasn't aware that they were directly involved in the current white supremacist issues the US is experiencing....
Doesn't bother me, Terry. I know the difference between a re-enactment and those that were at Charlottesville. Heck, when Darth Vader's helmet was made, George Lucas admitted the design came from the old German Nazi solder's helmet.
Good morning it's a sunny one here, so summer seems to have returned for a while......... I will let the day unwind today ...............enjoy your Tuesday...
