Thank you @Ina I. Wonder glad to see the water going down at your home. I hope you and Bobart have what you need until the rescuers can get to y'all. We are in a good place this time and the sun is shining today...we are only predicted to get maybe a couple of more inches of rain so God has been good and answered our prayers for no more flooding for us this time around.
Morning all.. It's a glorious sunny morning here..... @Ina I. Wonder , oh dear your front yard looks absolutely saturated... I hope it's not too long before it all dries out, but I'm also worried about your neighbours who had even more damage, the cost of repairs are going to be horrendous for most...and flood water is so filthy you can rarely ever get rid of the smell . Thank goodness you had Bobert with you Good news about your daughters' things @Babs Hunt , and also that they've now got into their own home. Let's hope that the furniture won't take too long to get there, and the family can settle in properly finally.. My o/h has a day off today, so he's taking the dry cleaning down to town and going to the Barbers to get his hair cut before returning to work tomorrow, and he'll pick up a few groceries for me, and drop a prescription into our doctors surgery... We may go out later this afternoon if it stays nice.. have a good Thursday everyone, whatever you're doing today..
Seems I have been a blob, the last few days. Glued to the tv for news about the devastation in Houston and surrounding areas. So surprised the family is still in tact, and have power, when so many do not. Hopefully today can get myself up and moving. Woke up way too early, and still hour later, got up too early...makes for a long day. @Ina I. Wonder , so glad you are ok and hope and get much needed rest. Hope all of you have a good Thursday

It's a 3-day holiday weekend and my wife is off on Monday and gets to leave her job today at 2PM instead of 5PM. Monday is Labor Day. Wow is 2017 going by fast.
Morning all, It's a beautiful sunny Saturday here.... I took these photos near my house a couple of days ago... Little muntjac making a run for it when it spotted us as we walked down the lane... The sheep grazing in the little pasture.. The Rowan berries in full bloom.... ...and the apple tree laden and ready to ripen... Last week was our Last Holiday w/e of the year until Christmas, and the children return to school next week, so the motorways will be packed full of returning tourists ,. If we go out today we'll stay local and avoid the traffic.. have a good weekend everyone...

Good morning to you all from a dull Sunday morning here in Worcester UK, I only mean the weather hopefully nothing else will be dull .......my daughter Cathy is working a long day shift at the local hospital today, it's officially 12 hours, but usually runs on two or three more hours. Tomorrow is a day off for Cathy though so I am taking her out for an early movie show at 10am, and then out to a restaurant for lunch.
