I posted my thoughts on this some time in the past and most disagreed with me, how ever I still feel that LOOTING is one of the most reprehensible of all crimes and deserves instant death.
I can't see instant death as something for looters...I reserve that for rapists, child molesters, spousal abusers, etc. Looters definitely should get some jail time and have to make restitution for what they stole...but unless they killed someone while taking the loot I can't see instant death for them.
Instant death for looters; no, that's not something I could support. Instant death for people who drive too slow on one-lane highways, or on windy roads where I can't pass - I might consider that.
there were dozens caught down in Fla. They face charges of burglary during a natural disaster. penalty ?? got me. I did hear no working boots were stolen

I don't agree with killing them but maybe shoot just close enough to give them a good scare. Sure, the insurance companies will pay for the loss to the businesses. Then they have to go up on everybody's insurance to recoup their losses. So the looters get $200 shoes and we get the privilege of paying for them. I can see taking food to keep from starving but I hardly think they are going to eat those shoes.
On the other forum it was suggested by someone that the looters taking the shoes would selll them for money to buy food....I'm not buying that scenario.
