Good morning everyone....heading home today. Ive been sleeping in which is very unusual for me. Guess I'm exhausted.
Hi, everybody. It's windy and rainy as predicted. Love the pictures. Isn't it amazing how our brains can shift back and forward to see the double image ones? @Terry Page , I wonder if you have delayed jet lag from all your travels? I hope you feel better soon. @Chrissy Cross , You'll be back to your usual chipper self in a day or so.
Cathy and Mike spent time at Hitlers Eagles Nest site and the surrounding area today, here are a few of their photos Then Now Now Part of the complex Inside
Good morning friends I had a better nights sleep even though I woke several times, I am not sure if the cognac I bought yesterday helped, but I am having a series of routine blood tests on Friday, so will avoid alcohol for a couple of days. I am feeling ok a bit less drugged this morning, so will see how I go It's a bright cool morning 10c (50f) here but showers are forecast for later, I have a few business phone calls to make and a bit of housework today, this evening I am childminding for Caroline. Have a great Wednesday
Hi, everybody. Awesome pictures, @Terry Page . The one of Cathy at the edge of the precipice almost gave me a heart attack. Y'all have a nice day, now, y'hear?
Good morning to you all, I am waking up with Coca tea at the moment, it's bright and sunny at the moment after a dull start, I am doing housework and tidying up yet again today, enjoy your Thursday This is a funny but ultimately sad photo taken off the coast of Indonesia, where serious pollution is killing a lot of marine life
Thursday is almost gone and all I have done is play on this darn computer. So, it's been a good day. I hope y'alls has been good, too.
Yep @Shirley Martin ...same here and it's been a good day. I did clean my stove.. not a thorough cleaning but good enough.
Good morning everyone, and I'm sorry that I've not been around lately, but as you all, I went through hurricane Harvey. At least things are starting to get back to normal around Houston, although many of our streets look like obstacle courses with all the stuff that Harvey destroyed. I've been taking care of my neighbor"s two young children, ages five and two, this last week. Their home wasn't flooded, but the daycare the kiddies go to was. Since the babies already know me, I volunteered to care for them until better arrangements could be made. So by 4:30pm, I'm pretty tired out, but being around little one is a treat for me. It looks like I'll be watching the little ones for a couple more weeks, so I'm just going to enjoy the time as much as I can. Yesterday brought my first insurance adjuster, and another will here next Tuesday. Yesterday's adjuster found more damages than I thought we had. I'm not sure how one goes about choosing contractors for flood repairs, but I think I'll try to hire seniors that are still in the work force. So I'll try to get back here on a more regular bases. Have a great day my friends.
