Good morning all. I just walked next door so that the neighbor's children don't have to wake until they're ready. This also keeps us from having to drag toys and diaper bags to my house. This will work better than having to wake the children at 6:00 am., and then having to deal with cranky little ones through the morning. Last week they came to my house, and Izzy thought all the toys were his. Right now Izzy is running around and checking out the new place, and the CAT. Poor kitty, it's the first one Izzy has been able to actually get close to. At least the kitty is bigger than Izzy, who is very curious about this critter. So things look like they will be much easier on the children and my house this week. Plus Kim said not worry about the mess made throughout the day. So have a good day, and I'll see if being here will give me more time to see what the rest of you are doing on SOC.
Good morning, everybody. @Terry Page , have a good trip. @Ina I. Wonder , I'm sure being at home will be better for the kids and for you. Looking after kids is a job, no matter how much you love them. I love Bubba with all my heart but when he goes back to his Mimi's house on Sunday, I breath a deep sigh of relief. He has a lot more energy than I have.
Good evening from Russia it's just past 8:00 pm Tuesday here and I have had a restful day, a few dozes and a short walk. We have bought some essential food and some essential cognac which I am sampling now, with a piece of double Gloucester cheese and a chunk of fresh ciabatta all very nice. I do feel better here more at home somehow, everything feels familiar..... The flight here was odd, we were all ready to takeoff from Amsterdam on time when the control tower decided to switch runways because it was a quiet period, this involved a 50 minute delay which we made up some of by flying faster, but on arriving in Russia the airport had been closed for a party so we had to circle for 20 minutes, eventually landing remarkably only about 30 minutes late. It was pouring with rain so we took a taxi to Lisa's apartment. One of those coincidences happened on the flight here, I was sat next to a senior who lived about 15 miles from my home, she was with a group who were going to take a cruise from St.Petersburg to Moscow. I will see if I can catch up a bit on here... enjoy your day/night
Hi, everybody. @Terry Page , enjoy your essentials. That must have been somebody really important to close the whole airport for their party. I hope you are feeling well now. Pretty pictures, @Maryt Hope and @Chrissy Cross
Good morning everyone it's midday here and a beautiful sunny day at 15c Lisa is at work today so I will chill out apart from cooking dinner of bangers and mash ....... Enjoy your day........ The fantasies.... The Reality
Good afternoon, y'all. We do all have our fantasies, don't we, @Terry Page ? Still the reality looks pretty darn good with a nice drink to go with it. @Maryt Hope , I'm sure your rainy evening is not as pretty as the fantasy one. Our weather has been really nice, warm sunny days, cool nights. It will soon be fishing time again.
It's 9pm here now so will go and watch a movie with Lisa now, either an episode of a weird BBC drama series called Dr Foster which gets more manic each week or a French film called "From The Land Of The Moon" which I have downloaded from Amazon Prime and looks good Enjoy your day/evening/night
Good morning to you all, it's another sunny day with a clear blue sky, we are going out shortly to sort out data for my phone and a few other odds and ends. Have a great Thursday ....... These are a few odds and ends I found on the desktop of my laptop here, so I may have posted them before
