Yeah, ma and me decided to kick things up a notch and start a band. I think this lady and gentleman gave me a few ideas.........
Impressive @Bobby Cole. I remember see an old fella play the spoon when I was a small child. His family went to church with mine. He was always tapping out a tune on anything and everything around him. So if you were to start a band, what would you use for your musical instrument, and what about Yvonne?
@Patsy Faye gave me the ultimate idea for a millennial band. An imaginary one! Imaginary instruments, imaginary concerts and of course, imaginary money.
Since it is to be an imaginary band, I’d like to play the pan flute. Maybe I could sit next to @Bill Boggs in the wind section? I’ve always been partial to saxophones as well, although those take a lot of wind. But I my imagination can give me all the wind I’ll need.
My grandad played the washboard and the spoons...my paternal granny played the harmonica... I played Cello in school... but not very well When it became obvious that my daughter was musically gifted...she plays bass guitar, various wind instruments.. Xylophone, keyboard and a little bit of drums.... I said to my father that I had no idea where she got her musical aptitude from ...he looked stunned and said completely stoney faced , what do you mean ???....you're granny played the mouth organ...
