I'm afraid that we can look forward to more of the same here in the United States, thanks to the hundreds of thousands of male refugees, of military age, that our president is inviting here. That's what happens when you elect someone who isn't on our side to run the country - he invites the enemy over.
I had the same thoughts Ken! Then when something like this happens, the leaders seem so clueless as to how this happened! They become all "patriotic," and determined to do something drastic. How about not letting these cutthroats into the country? That's a novel idea, isn't it? BTW, according to Fox news, there were several related attacks which brings the death toll up to 150 and counting!
As of the last update, there are already 160 casualties in Paris on the explosions and gunfires from nowhere. And as we may all have suspected, the ISIS had claimed responsibility for the murderous act. Worse, the ISIS admirers in France are jubilating as if they had defeated an enemy in the war zone. The collateral damage is unacceptable, those innocent people who died because of the overzealous religiosity of the fanatics. I don't know what would happen if that kind of attack would spread far and wide as to reach the US and other countries outside of Europe and America. Not the Philippines, please, because there are lots of Muslims down south of the country.
Ruby, I appreciate your, "I am French" sentiment, but I don't think I can say that. I'm finding myself having less and less in common with the French these days. I do think this is an absolute tragedy, and I hope all civilized nations, including the U.S., will see it as (yet another) wake-up call.
As we are doing, France invited the Muslims in. They allowed them to set up their own Muslim zones, where Sharia Law was in effect. Sad as it is, they are reaping the consequences of their actions, as we will in this country.
Yes, Paris is a popular tourist attraction plus the band that was performing was American. I think they got out though.
I dont know if this has been confirmed but its being reported that one of the terrorists was a syrian refugee. http://www.infowars.com/report-paris-attacker-was-syrian-refugee-who-arrived-in-greece-last-month/
