As we get older we seem to be more absent-minded. I believe this is a result of having so many weighty things on our mind that the trivia of everyday living slips by us. With a view toward correcting this situation, I have devised and printed a checklist that we use before leaving the house, if we can remember to use it. Checklist Stove off? Thermostat down? Computer off? TV off? Lights off? Teeth in? (Both of us) Billfold and purse? Keys? Bra on? (Wife only, not required if wearing a coat.) Hearing aids in? (and spare batteries) Empty bladder? (both of us) This turned out so well that I thought I would share it with you. You might want to help me and add to this list.
@Ted Richards Ted, I would very much like some tips for "those not getting older", as in, how can I stop it, without seeing the alternative? Frank
@Ted Richards What a great list LOL Got a few more that you might want to add Back and/or side doors locked? Cell phone? Pills, in travel case?
