I'm not sure what you're saying here, but the first "I" in "ISIS" stands for "Islamic." Are all Muslims members of ISIS? Of course not. Before we became involved in the MidEast, the Muslims were mostly killing one another, but that doesn't minimize the threat.

In an article today, Chrissy, it mentions that a 23-year-old American design student at California State University, Long Beach, was among the dead. If anyone is interested in reading the article, it highlights some of those who lost their lives in Paris.

In last nights Democrat debate, Ike, Bernie Sanders stated that ISIS was caused by climate change.

At the risk of being politically incorrect, I seem to remember that after we were attacked in 2001, France wouldn't even let us use their air space.

Yes Ken, I think you are right...wasnt that when Americans were boycotting French Fries or something similar?

I was living in Hungary at the time of 911 so I could be wrong but I do remember something about French Fries.:)

Terry, this link was very helpful for me to grasp some understanding of what is going on with Kerry and the talks!

I was both fascinated and saddened that it took this carnage in Paris to bring progress and what appears to be resolution to Syria's civil war. It also appears everyone may finally be convinced of the danger Isis poses, thank goodness.

Yes he did say that, Chrissy, and also when the moderator asked him whether he stood by his previous claims that climate change was the No. 1 threat to national security. He said he did.

There is this Rabbi in Israel who meddled in the issue of the Paris attacks. Here is an excerpt of the news -
A religious Zionist cleric from a Jewish settlement on the West Bank told mourners on Saturday during the funeral of an Israeli father and son gunned down by Palestinian terrorists that the attacks in Paris were deserved due to what Europeans "did to our people 70 years ago."

Isn't that fanning the fire of hate? Our former boss in the office had said that Israelis are the best accountants because they do not forget any crime did to them. Isn't that a wee bit of a shiver to the Palestines? It seemed to me that Israelis are the "tit for tat" kind of people.

Back to Paris, it is really a sad day for the people in the whole world who believe that life is sacred. That is my fear on the so called Jihad, that is to kill for one's religion. And jihad is getting to be the usual alibi when violence erupts that involved Muslims. Pardon me for that statement but I really think that Islam had taught its people to be violent, the exact opposite of what Christians are taught to behave.
