A great set of pics, Holly. Whatever happened to the poor woman in the front of the raft in the last photo. Did she get washed overboard?
No she didn't jeff.....although so many of them do.....it's very funny to watch them trying to stay upright on the waterfalls....
Great photos Holly! I was startled to quite accidentally witness white water rafting in Durango, Colorado. The Animas River runs through that scenic mountain town and the rapids there provide a white water rafting course where there were a group of kayaker's practicing their skills..
Brading Roman museum, Isle of Wight. Four slightly tipsy ladies after lunch. No idea who they were....the one second from left reminds me of a dear departed aunt. The umbrella comes from the Mountbatten hospice shop
I still haven't been to the IOW ( even tho' I lived in Gosport just across the water years ago ....although Hubs has visited, for work purposes... I remember talking to you a few years ago Mike about the best parts of the IOW to visit if only going for a day or 2...but I just have never found the time to go. The summer puts me off because of the tourists and then of course winter will be cold and or wet...so not really sure when is the best time to visit tbh...
This is our village post office... well at least it was until recently when they closed the post office part, and now it's just a house..
