Good Morning everyone... first sorry @Chrissy Cross , I missed your request for the videos...it should play for you as these guys are American... both of them physiotherapists... and they have a lot of Videos online... really good...
It's really sunny here this morning but it's icy outside...sitting here by the window it feels hot with the sun shining in...but when I open the back door it's frrreeeezing. I was going to go shopping this morning for a new mattress, and some new slippers, but I cried off... I think I'll leave the mattress until after Christmas..it's not desperate.... I will try tomorrow to go out and get my new slippers tho'.. I never wore slippers much until this year, always preferring to go barefoot at home..then I got plantar fascitis after being on my feet at work for anything up to 11 hours. so after seeking treatment for the PF..I was told that never ever to go barefoot at home always wear at least a 1/2 inch heel...flip flops or bare-feet are the worst things you can do for your feet... so I started wearing slippers at home, took me a while to get used to it, and I still don't like it too much but I don't want to trigger the PF again..anyway the slippers I have are a little on the big side, and I've tripped a couple of times hence my need to go shopping for new ones. The other day I counted out our change boxes...it's such a long boring job , so I always put it off.. I thought I had about £100...so I was delighted after sitting for over an hour to find I had £305 ( $406 USD) ...just gotta find some time and energy to get it banked lol..
Good morning everyone! Chilly day here and also windy, brrrr. Thanks @Holly Saunders for the video. Took a quick look through it and Ive done many of those in one shape or another. They seem so basic but they really work. I should also count my change, I haven't done that in at least 5 years!
Yes they really do work CC... I've got better so quickly just using these videos...I've still got a way to go but the difference between 3 months ago and now is amazing... and I didn't spend a penny on PT...the only cost was the exercise straps.. about £7.00
I don't save £1 coins Patsy... there was a few 50p's in there but I had £70 alone in 20p's then of course loads in 10p's..and the worst of all to count are the 5p's... I do try and spend all the little 2's and 1p's if I can, because they're a PITA to count...but I've got about £3.00 in those..
I don't save the pennies. I hate change in my purse so on the odd occasion Ive paid with cash I usually give the change to the donation jar.
Good Morning. I'm enjoying another cup of CC's Dark Chocolate Peppermint Christmas coffee with one of Albertson's bakery cinnamon rolls as my sweet treat this morning and everything is delicious. Are you the kind of person who wakes up all cheery and ready to get up and go in the mornings? Or are you a grouch until you've had your coffee and a little time to ease into another day, etc? I like to have my morning cup of coffee and a sweet treat and some quiet time for myself before I'm ready to ease into the new day and interact with my loved ones. If I don't get that...then I can be quite the grump! Since I usually wake up before anyone else...I usually have that time to myself and very few people see the Grump side of me. I think we have an 80% chance of rain today. Hopefully it will come in between bringing my Honey to work to do the Dairy Order and picking him up to bring him home again. May this day be special for each of other.
Good Morning everyone... It's a grey grim and very cold morning this morning... we were supposed to be going out for lunch but yet again we can't, so perhaps tomorrow... oooh I'm like you @Babs Hunt I can't speak to anyone for the first hour I'm up... everyone knows not to speak to me because at best they'll get a nod or a shake of the head... because I just don't talk. It takes me an hour to mentally wake up enough to chat. We've just been watching the sparrows doing a tribal dance trying to get to the dish of meal worms that hangs from one of the tree, that hubs puts out. They absolutely love them, but there seems to be a hierarchy, while one is feeding from the dish the others are sitting on the fence, and they keep attempting to fly over and get some food and are soon chased off by the one feeding..and back to the fence they go and sit while another tries,.. but at one stage there was 4 of them ballet dancing in the air above the dish getting all tangled up in each other trying to gain superiority to gain access to the dish lol Have a lovely Sunday everyone whatever you're doing today...
Good morning, I'm the same...need my quiet time in the morning..always have and that's probably the reason I got up so early my whole life. That is the one thing that's difficult for me to adjust to at my son's. Aside from the 2 hr time difference I can never get up early enough to have alone time....grandsons wake me up and start chattering right away. My head feels like it will explode, lol.
Especially the FIRST morning, I usually get in very late at night and they are 2 hrs ahead of me. Sometimes they're asleep when I arrive so they're very excited to see me. Usually Ive only slept 3 hrs max and have 3 boys on me without even having had a drop of coffee...I Love it and hate it at the same time, lol
