Morning all...it's wet although not raining...it's the result of a deep fog during the night I think. Just put the wheelie bin out for the dust cart the last collection before the altered dates over Christmas.. good thing we don't have a lot of rubbish in this house, I can't imagine how bigger families cope with all the extra rubbish over Christmas and having to wait a couple of days longer to have their bins emptied.. we're not permitted to leave stuff outside the bin nor are we permitted to have so much stuff in it that the lid won't close.. Is it the same where you are ? Anyway, it doesn't affect us.. I was just musing! Have a good Wednesday everybody...
The bin men are a little loopy where we are, a bit like Laurel and Hardy Everyone xx Had my third blood test this morning
oh joy @Patsy Faye , but i hope this time they can come up with some results for you...do you have far to travel to the nearest hospital?
@Holly Saunders - yea, I says to the nurse, could we do the other arm this time, yes - she says When she did, nothing happened ! - I says, am I empty ? Had to revert back to the other arm - I guess I won't know till after Christmas so I will forget it now
@Holly Saunders - yes the hospital is nearby and the Doctor, but if I were on me own, I'd have to get a cab there and back So - if I had a blood test in that circumstance, I would say, I want them all done together, no dribs and drabs !
First, got my Avatar back. Gonna be another nice/warm day here. Our average for Dec is 66 high/44 low, so around 80 is definitely high for Dec here. Dec and Jan are our coldest months, but who would think of Florida as "cold", but it doesn't get that way sometimes. We can get frost on windshield and see our breath. Got do a couple of errands today for my wife. Other than that, just "putzing" around here, seeing what we can get rid of before our move. Have a nice day everyone. Oh, and wanted to say............this forum is the VERY BEST and so are the people. I have my "ups and downs" with some on here, but all-in-all, everyone is very nice and I REALLY enjoy being a part of this forum. One last thing, is this font size/5 better to see than the regular size/4?
Good morning everyone! Supposed to rain this morning. Our winter temps are in the 50's and 60's usually. I wear glasses @Cody Fousnaugh so font size doesn't matter to me unless it's very very tiny. I agree that this is the best forum and feels the most like home.
Good Morning All We had our Annual Christmas party at the hotel and had a great time. Food was the best it's been, the Chef really out did himself this year. While looking over the gifts for the drawing, we laughed about keeping the 'vacation' streak going this year. Wouldn't you know it, we won a 2 night stay at the Campbell House in Lexington, KY One of Hilton's Curio Collection. Guess we'll use it when we need to get away for the weekend. We have won a trip the last 3 years. Pretty nice of the company to make these available. Everybody enjoy the Day...
@Cody Fousnaugh , I use the bold print because it's easier to see. Some time ago, somebody said that it was easier for them to see. I use bold and a bigger size in the games because one of our players has eye problems and can see it better. Good afternoon and Merry Christmas, everyone!
Good afternoon to you all, we woke to a winter wonderland this morning, a few inches of snow fell overnight, so it will be a White Christmas here, because it will remain subzero into the foreseeable future, and more snow is forecast. Have a great Thursday everyone... Photo I just took from the balcony here ..
