Good morning and a happy new year for everyone. Cold here today and all this week they say. Supposed to be a low of 9 and a high of 26 today. I plan to light a fire this morning for the first time this year. Oh, I just realized even if I had a fire yesterday this morning's fire would still be the first time this year. I should say the first time this winter.
Good Afternoon all..on the first day of 2018 damp and dreary here despite a beautiful red sky last night ...thought we were going to get a beautiful day today.. hey ho It's 1pm here now...lots of the larger stores are open today so hubs is just getting ready to go off and get some paint from the Hardware store... he has limited time off work for the holidays, so he has to catch up on house maintenance when he has time off given that he works a regular 14 hours a day 6 days a week.. I'm not going out. I slept really badly due to the pain in my shoulders.. so although I should go and take a long walk for the exercise I'm going to stay home today... Hope you all have a great start to 2018

Showered, wahed hair and feel like a person...I am wearing real clothes today! Hope to get a few things done today. Have a great day !
Be careful don't go doing too much...but getting showered and getting outdoor clothes on does often help you feel much better... just take things easy.. ok?

Good Morning everybody... It's another day of rain and high winds here. We don't get a lot of rain here in the South compared to the rest of the country but we had snow last week which laid heavy for several days and then rain for the last few days and now the grass is all spongy and mossy.. !! We had planned to take Oak bed frame to the Charity shop today it's in mint condition so we didn't want to throw it out ...and also take a few things to the recycle centre.. but it'll have to wait until tomorrow when it's forecast to be dry.. Hope those of you who are poorly feel better today.... have a good day everyone whatever you're doing.
