Good morning everyone! I had a bad night with my back, just turning from side to side hurt and I had to be very careful. It's somewhat better this morning so that's good. I have errands today and was going to put away the Christmas decorations but I may wait with that. I do have PT tomorrow and I hope my back is better .... I'm also starting my diet today and I have no idea what I'm eating for breakfast.
CC do you sleep with a pillow between your knees?...I sleep on my side so I keep the pillow between my knees to prevent the top leg from being weighted on the other leg IYKWIM ..which strains the lumber disc. Take things very carefully and slowly today.. . I broke my diet this morning and had freshly baked bread and butter... but for lunch in a minute I am going to have Candy floss flavoured green grapes and crab salad...
Yes, I have a very long pillow I sleep with....long enough for me to hold and lean on and also put between my knees. Every time I turn I have to move the pillow too. ...I turn a lot during the night but am usually more comfortable laying on my right side. What are candy floss flavored green apples??
It may be very cold over here this morning at 22 degrees and a wind chill factor of 11 degrees...but at least the sun is out and will be for most of the day. I'm so thankful for warm comforters and central heating this morning. So many of us are experiencing much colder weather than we are used too...and so early into Winter too. My coffee tasted so good this morning...even the smell of it brewing seemed to warm my insides just thinking about tasting that first sip. Now I'm tucked under my comforter hoping all of you are staying warm this morning too.
yes I'm exactly the same I turn a lot too so the pillow goes with me but of course having to do that I don't really get a restful sleep. It's candy floss flavoured Grapes ( you call it cotton candy )....
Ok and thanks...where did I see apples? I don't think Ive ever seen that brand of grape, will look next time.

Mornin' all... We have storm Eleanor today...so verrry windy and heavy rain ..so we've had to cancel plans to go out again today. here's pictures of the wind damage http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5229903/Storm-Eleanor-smashes-Britain.html Hubs is not altogether sad about that because he's doing some D-I-Y while he's on break from work..but he goes back to work tomorrow for one day, so he wants to get it all finished today.. so he can have the weekend free to do other things. I really need to go out and walk to free up my back...but I hate the wind more than rain or snow.. Anyway, a nice thing was that my daughter sent me a Michael Kors Caramel coloured Wool hat and scarf set this morning so perhaps I could tell the wind where to get off in my nice new woolly hat and scarf..lol Have a good Day everyone...
Although it's 22 degrees right now we are supposed to have a high of 43 degrees for today with plenty of sunshine. So after I take my Honey to work I will probably run a couple of errands and maybe go play with my youngest grandkids for a while. I was so excited to get my youngest daughter's Family picture they took right before Christmas. :There are more to choose from but this is one of my favorites. I'm really hoping at our Annual Easter Family Reunion that we will be able to take a Family picture with all of us in it. Although we do have lots of photos...we do not have many of all of us together. What is it about this cold weather that really makes my mug of coffee taste so good? When I find myself at the end of the coffee in the mug I just want to go pour me some more...but unlike my Honey who can drink all the coffee he wants to...if I drink more than on cup or mug...my digestive system tells me it is very unhappy that I did that. Drinking more than one cup/mug of coffee also makes me feel very jittery all day long. We learn over the years what we can or can not do if we don't want to deal with the consequences. I'm watching our local News right now and almost every morning since the cold weather started the News is reporting that someone's home has burnt down because someone in that home is using space heaters or some other heating method improperly. So far no one has died in any of these house fires...but families are now being left homeless and without the things they need to live too because they were not following safety rules in keeping their homes warm. It makes me sad to see people lose everything like this. And I wish this kind of thing just did not have to happen. It's 30 degrees now. Warming up quicker this morning than the past two days but it is still cold. May it be a good day for all of you whether you stay home or hit the roads.
