"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun...it rises at one end of the heavens and its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat." Psalm 19:1,4c,6 Good Morning! What a beautiful sunrise we had this morning. I wish I had a better camera to capture it but I am thankful just to have been able to take this picture with the camera I do have. May God's beautiful sun bring you warmth today.
When my husband got home from work yesterday he told me that his Boss's Mom was brought to a Hospice Center (which she asked them to bring her to) and that she was fading fast. But I'm sure she is not in pain as Hospice is really good about making sure you don't have pain or comfort as you begin your journey Home. As for the water problems, we here in Lafayette are not having any (except maybe a few people having broken water pipes), the smaller cities around us are where the water pressure is low and people are having to boil their water. And to you and your husband Holly...a Blessed and very:
No sun today! Good morning everyone, it's supposed to rain in the morning...YAY! Also will cool off for which I'm grateful. I don't like it when the house temp goes up a degree by morning with heat off. It was 68 degrees in my house this morning. I wake up hot.
Yes I am sure I will thanks, the video was made last year as the last one of a 7 part series, covering the whole of Mexico We are flying out on a direct flight to Cancun from London on the 16th January, and staying with Mexicans in Homestays, being met at the airport for our first one, then renting a car and driving around the peninsula and flying back on February 4th. We are driving on a circular route around the Yucatan Peninsula see below, apart from 3 days in Mexico City, flying there and back from Cancun. Yes we have been warned about the water driving at night etc., hopefully all will go well.....
Good evening to you all..... Have spent a restful day doing nothing much, apart from making a veggie curry for dinner ....... have as relaxing a weekend as possible.....
Good morning everyone, my kind of weather here today....cooler and rainy. Yay. Not going out since I have to go out tomorrow anyway for PT so may just clean or may just binge watch something on Netflix. That's the beauty of living alone...I make all the decisions
It's been raining lightly most of the day so far but the wonderful news is that it is actually warm again and I am finally thawing out from all the cold weather. How good this feels. My Honey and I are watching our Saints team play the Carolina Panthers right now in the Wildcard Game. We just finished eating platters of jumbo boiled shrimp, potatoes, sausage, mushrooms, and corn on the cob. This was supposed to be our supper last night over at my youngest daughter's home...but my SIL didn't start boiling the shrimp until after 7pm so I passed by this morning after dropping my Honey off at work and picked up our lunch for today. The good thing about boiled seafood to me is that it tastes just as good cold as it does hot to me. And it all was yummy. It was supposed to be a whole Family gathering but it ended up that my middle daughter and her family did not come. Her middle child had a basketball game or practice and during it his chest started hurting and he told my daughter he was having trouble breathing, so she took him to the Clinic where a Doctor diagnosed him with a respiratory infection (thank God not the flu) and gave him a steroid shot and some meds to take. My daughter didn't want any of us to get his sick germs so they didn't come. But it was nice to have the others there. Tomorrow all the grandkids go back to school after their Christmas holiday vacation. I hope everyone is having a good weekend and staying well.
Hola, I am getting ready for the last but one school run before I go home to Worcester, to get ready for our trip to Mexico I had some strange dreams last night wandering around familiar but weird houses, and I met George Clooney driving a truck for some reason, no idea what all that means Have a good start to the week.....
It's another warm morning at 60 degrees. Hurrah! We will be having morning showers but as long as its warm rain I don't mind at all. Once I drop my Honey off at work I'll be heading to my daughter's to take care of our two youngest grandkids while my daughter takes care of some business outside their home. It's so good to have them living so close that I just have to drive a short ways to be at their home. Our Saints team won yesterday and it was a very close and good game. I know most of you aren't interested in Sports...and my interest is basically limited to our home teams and my grandkids games. But it was nice to see our team win. My Honey and I had so many jumbo boiled shrimp yesterday that we couldn't eat all of them. So I peeled what was left, boiled some eggs and chunked them both in my mini processor with some jalapenos and then mixed it all with some may and a little seasoning to make shrimp salad for sandwiches or to put on crackers. It came out really good and my daughter and I are going to enjoy some of it on sandwiches today. @Holly Saunders Hope you and your husband had a very special Anniversary. I did wish y'all that in an post the other day but forgot to do your name right so you would see it. So here it is again. Have a good day everyone.
