Noooooo lol... Tiffany yes, wonderful... but not green for me ... @Cody Fousnaugh ...say hello to your lovely wife from us ...but tell her no you're not pissing us off. I'm not a huge girly girl I have to admit...I've never been that. I can and do dress up and act like a girl with pretty nails, and all of that, but I'm more at home in jeans and boots.. and getting my hands dirty.. I can decorate and paint the walls in the house, ( in fact just the other day I took all the handles and knobs off the kitchen cupboard and drawers and replaced them all with new ), do all the gardening including mowing our lawns , and can do lots of basic things in my car, changing oil etc...but I'm also very at home in a dress and jewellery when the occasion warrants it..in fact I'd change the oil in my car wearing a dress if necessary... lol But I'd still like to have a Pink Pistol... ETA - Very pleased that you're feeling much better now @Babs Hunt
This was our picks too for the Super Bowl @Tim Burr. My husband lived most of his life in Jacksonville and I spent over 5 years living there as his wife too. So we were definitely rooting for the Jags to win. We were both disappointed and felt they could have won easily if they just wouldn't have messed up so much. As for the Vikings...what a mess! I didn't even finish watching this game. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. At least our Chili's food was definitely a winner.
@Holly Saunders A girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do whether it was at one time considered a "man's" job or not. And isn't it nice to know that we can do those things if we want or need to. As for the Tiffany gun...it is actually supposed to be a light aqua color, a beachy color that appeals to my love of the beach! You might like this one better: @Patsy Faye, I do have to admit they are making some pretty guns now days...but none of my daughters have any of those pretty guns...theirs are just regular basic colored "don't mess with me" guns. I won't show my daughter the pistol from Tiffany's though as she just might put that one on her Birthday or Christmas list. I'm so ready for a vacation...anyone else? But I'd settle for Winter just going far, far, away right now. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1361244327363726
Good Morning all... All our snow from yesterday has melted ..yeaaah... and it's a sunny morning. Hubs is off work until mid-week, so he's gone off to get some stuff done to his sports car about 50 miles from here.. he has to leave it at the specialist place and they'll give him a free courtesy car while the work on his car gets done. If he gets back in time, we're going out for lunch... but he usually spends hours there just chatting about cars with the mechanics...half the time he knows more than them . @Babs awww shame about your team getting Muellered...lol ..but hey it's only a game, ....I hope you're still feeling well. yes I'm afraid I just have a straight as it comes ''as don't mess with me gun''..as you say.... and I'm probably glad I don't have a pwetty one, I'd be more tempted to get it out more often..*yikes* lol Where are you @Chrissy Cross ?...are you ok? Have a Good Monday everybody
So glad you are getting out and around @Holly Saunders and getting things accomplished too. Enjoy your time with your husband. And your right about those pretty guns...they just might be a little to tempting to "show off". Yes, where is @Chrissy Cross? Probably playing on some other Forums. I sure hope that is all it is.
I don't think she is on another forum..I haven't seen her for a couple of days anywhere ... I don't know if she's still with her daughter and GC's...
@Holly Saunders @Babs Hunt Yes, Chrissy is fine, not been bothering with the forum and still with her daughter Good morning everyone Xx
Good morning all! Still at my daughter's but heading home tomorrow. My daughter came home Saturday night and we've been running around. She's off today so more of the same. Hope everyone has a great day!
First, GOOD MORNING. Well, the Jags lost yesterday, but they made a descent try. As for myself, I didn't really care if they won or lost, but had an inside "feeling" that the Pats were going to come thru. Went to a local Sports Bar and had to sit at the bar. A couple of 50 or so year old guys came in and sat next to me. I could tell the one smoked, because he definitely smelled like cigarettes. He also appeared to have already started to "party" before he got there with his friend. Yes, somewhat already "wasted". He was pretty loud and my wife told me, when we left, "I sometimes think you are loud, well Honey, he outdone you" and we both agreed and laughed. We left the Sports Bar at Half-Time. I just couldn't handle the dude any longer. Guess anyone could call this the "Pit" of yesterday.
Even though it is still warmer here, and my front door is open to air out the house, we are supposed to get some thunderstorms coming in anytime. The weather channel is just saying t-storms and rain; but Bobby heard on the radio this morning that it might be strong winds (60-70 mph) and possible tornadoes. Hopefully, the guy on the radio is wrong, and we just get rain and thunder. The radar is showing it getting pretty close to Huntsville, so I have had the dogs all out, and they are now tucked away in the house again to wait out the storms. I have been off of the green smoothies for a while now, but I know that I feel much better when i drink them, and I have a load more energy; so I am starting back with drinking them every day again. I already feel like more energy, and clear-headed, and it is just the second day ! This morning, I woke up craving the green smoothie, and not my coffee. Spring is coming, and I want to get my health back where it was last summer, and it is time to get to work on that. I re-read the Green For Life book, and am motivated to do this again.
