Dunno. Looking back at the posts I do recall Cody saying something about his wife suggesting he leave. Maybe it's just that she said to leave and so he left. One of those, "the boss said" kind of things.

People come and go. Obviously, I'd prefer that people stay once I have gotten to know them, however well we are able to do that here, but some of those who come and go will come again, which is part of the reason that I don't remove accounts when someone gets mad about something and asks me to delete their account, the larger reason being that it messes of the record of past discussions. I don't know why so many people feel the need to erase themselves when they leave, but most people do, and I guess that's what removing the avatar is all about. I just don't know what's so objectionable about simply saying that I have enjoyed myself here but it's not so much fun anymore so I think I'll leave for a while, or whatever the case might be. I'm not still participating in every forum that I have been a part of. There is even one that I started that is still doing fine under new management seven years after I left. The last time I looked, I still had an administrative login but someone else is handling it now. There are others, such as a homesteading one, that I think I would still enjoy, but haven't had the time or inclination to participate in the past couple of years. I did go in a few months ago, and made a few posts, but not many of the people I knew best are still there and, of those who are, I can't remember which were the ones I liked and the ones I didn't like. Anyhow, it's 2:35 am here on the East Coast, so good morning. I am about to go to bed.

Good morning from our last full day here in Mexico, we fly out from Cancun on Saturday evening, it's a clear dawn and promises to be another lovely day.The house we are staying in here, is a new build on a residential estate close to the Mayan ruins and beaches. The owner who is on vacation herself has a large collection of Russian literature and music CDs which we have been playing. I will drop Lisa off for a swim later and chill out here in the yard, then this afternoon drive up the coast to Cancun our last overnight stop. Thanks for worrying about me @Shirley Martin, but we have been having the journey of a lifetime travelling through this lovely country. We have met a lot of fellow senior travellers from all over the world, including many Americans who all say that they find Mexico a very safe country, despite the media hype. If you take the usual sensible precautions that you would in any country, you should have no problems. A few days ago we met an American senior on a Mayan site from Connecticut, who was travelling with a Swedish woman and a Mexican guy, on his 4th extended trip covering most of the country, and had had no problems at all. In fact he felt in some ways the US was more of a dangerous place to live in Have a great weekend.....
Yes, we do use the term "to be frank, or frankly" but I had to have a little fun when I read your post. And yes, we also use "rats behind" but it is generally used with a more colorful noun in regard to it's behind.......................

Hello everyone. I don't really care who the lady is that Cody mentioned. And I don't really care if @Cody Fousnaugh leaves or not anymore...since he does this all the time now when he can't have any way or someone doesn't agree with him. I looked up "control freak" and that pretty much nailed it as far as how I feel Cody has been acting lately and honestly I don't like this behavior at all. One of the reasons I love this Forum so much is because we all have been free to express ourselves and our differing opinions on subjects without the "harrassment" there is on a lot of other Forums. I like being able to state my opinions on things but I also understand that many others are going to have entirely different opinions than mine and they are just as welcome here to share their's as I am mine. Cody is welcome to do that too...but I do not like it at all when he keeps trying to make us change our minds and see things his way...nor do I like his disrespect for our opinions. Cody often starts interesting treads and I'd really like to see him stay on this Forum as long as he starts respecting our opinions on those treads. I'm just tired of the drama with Cody. And even though I don't want him to leave...if he comes back I hope he will leave the drama behind.
Well said @Babs Hunt ...yes @Cody Fousnaugh was good at starting threads but so are you. I'm not, I'm more of a replier and arguer I love this forum of ours, even when I disagree....and it's really no fun if we all think alike but it gets tiresome when every post is the same and I think Cody was going down that path. I'm sure people think I too post the same old same old and I probably do....my family, lol.
