We decided to stay in and have a cosy day for a change, so we have had a relaxing time in the warm, it has been sunny out but still bitterly cold. I have converted some downloaded Russian e-books for Lisa to read on her Kindle, and cooked a veggie stir fry with buckwheat for dinner. Have a great Sunday....

Good evening (at least it is here) to you all ...... I have had a lazy day waking up to low BP and pulse rate and felt very weak so relaxed and enjoyed that feeling Lisa went to work at 8am and still isn't back yet so I am trying to keep the dinner warm ready for when she returns, it's leftovers from yesterday plus some dranikis I made to go with it. I have been looking up some details of an abandoned town, about 20 miles from here that Lisa found on the internet yesterday. We will go on Friday or Saturday depending on the weather, it's a 30 minute train ride. My daughter Cathy and her partner Mike have been into "Ruins Porn" as it is called, for a while now spending most weekends tracking down empty cottages and various other buildings. It's been a cloudy boring sort of day out, apart from a snow flurry earlier... a couple of men were removing some icicles and snow from the building opposite, which looked a bit scary... Hope you Monday is going well....

Good morning all.. It's a Glorious sunny day today here with only a slight smattering of snow, unlike the rest of the southern Counties... I saw all the pictures of your place in the papers this morning @Patsy Faye *yikes*.. not to say we won't get it here later..they've cancelled lots of trains and planes so they must think something big is coming. Anyway I don't even have my heating on because the sun is so warm though the window..I'm going to take a walk shortly, in case we do get the heavy snow later.. Yesterday when the snow started we decided to do the shop rather than today On the way home the snow was coming down heavy, went on a few yards - no sign of snow, well its gotta stop somewhere right ...................
That's funny....in the summer I have a 30 degree difference in temps with my daughter on the coast....when driving I know exactly where it will drop about 25-30 degrees and it's not gradual ....so weird.
