I appreciate that it's a bit naff replying to yourself, but these are the characters I was thinking of. Japanese macaques taking it easy.
Good morning it's another dark damp day here at 1c though at least we have light inside today, if it's still in the early hours for you, a bit of Simon and Garfunkel may help, have a good day everyone.
And still it rains. This will keep me cheerful for a visit to the dentist this afternoon. As this means getting the train in to Edinburgh, I will go a bit early and meet some friends for a cup of coffee and the latest gossip. Then...the drill.
Greetings from the little city on Iowa's east bank. It's 34 degrees here and we're supposed to be getting snow showers this Morning. Here in the mid west they call that a "wintery mix", as opposed to a "summery mix", I suppose. Anyway, I ain't going anywhere. Tomorrow's payday for us on SS. Got my bill checks all wrote and ready to be mailed off today. What bugs me is, when I have a doc's appointment, he/she always wants me to visit the lab a week before my doc visit. That way, doc has my latest update when I come in for my routine visit. The problem is, at my clinic, you make one lab and doc visit, and bills come in every few weeks for some months. Don't know why they can't send one bill, then divide up the payment or something. The last few times I noticed the words "immediate payment due" on some of the bills. When I got a second notice for payment, I sent a note saying I get paid the 3rd of each month. I pay my bills on the 3rd. If I receive any bills one or two weeks after the 3rd, they wait until the next 3rd. Doctors used to be more "patient".
My town lost one of it's historic Victorian mansions yesterday. http://qctimes.com/gallery/huttig-h..._c56ae32e-7714-5244-8ebb-3697ccdba21e.html#10
Good morning everyone! High of 69 today. Driving home to Fresno this morning and still feeling sick...not a good combination but I have to do it! Happy Hump Day!
Good morning everyone. Chrissy, I just looked up Fresno. I didn't realize it was such a big city. I've been to Visalia and Woodlake several times but no closer.
