Holly.......... We have 12 grandchildren.......... That's right..... 12... ONE DOZEN Actually to be more accurate, 12 and a half grandchildren......... one in the oven !!!! He is 19 years old... They range from 24 years old to 6 months.. some of them live in New Zealand, some in Australia, some in the Philippines and some in Montreal...
Holly............. NO..... we never saw the grandkids that live out of our area.. Montreal is OK, but not the others.. As we have so many, we have told the parents that a card is all they will get as gifts would put us in the poor house especially the older they get, the more expensive gift they expect..
oh that's a real shame that you never got to see most of your grandchildren..I don't want to pry into your business, but I presume that they didn't come to visit you either

This is May 16th and we still have our electric blanket on the bed.. The daytime temperature is around 12c to 18c and sunny lately, however at night it still drops down below freezing.. Frost every night.. I also still have the furnace on at night to heat the house..
Have you started you plants indoors yet? Don't ya'll start them in pots then put them out when the weather is right?
Yes we always do that but this year we got tied up with Annmarie's ankle and other things but we just started the seeds for some veggies... it is still way too early to plant but we keep them indoors on a shelving unit in front of the kitchen patio doors and they get plenty of sun.....
Wedding was awesome but we got up at 4:00am to watch when we could of stayed asleep and watch the rerun at 11:00 and all day long there was repeats..
I haven't been online much lately because I'm doing spring cleaning. Did anybody ever invent a self cleaning house yet?
