Thanks All, Busy day at work, demo for a new project. We decided we needed a break from work, so going to use the 2 night stay I won at our Christmas party last year and head to Lexington, Ky. Heading out Friday. Kind of a 'Birthday/Anniversary/need-to-get-out-of-town' trip! Staying at one of our sister Hotels, The Campbell House. Plan to enjoy the two things Kentucky is famous for, Horses and Bourbon. Booked a tour of the Thoroughbred Horse Farms and a tour of one of the local distillery. We both enjoy Thoroughbred horses, and we will get to visit some famous farms. The Distillery tour is mostly for me. Having worked at the Ethanol plant as a distillation operator, the process of making 199 proof alcohol we did, is pretty much the same as the stuff they bottle; we just left out the finished aging, color, etc. So that tour will be kind of boring for the wife. ( I'll make up for it with a nice dinner and a trip to the local mall for some shopping... )
