Oh that's too bad but we are all different. I love being in the water. So agree with this! I sure hope to find a mobile in a park with a nice pool though people do bring grandkids to the pool.
I know you have a relatively short summer up there; but one of those little Intex-type of backyard swimming pools would work. It is certainly not as nice as having a regular pool where you can swim laps; but I swam around in circles in the backyard pool. If you get it off-season, then you can even find a pretty good deal on price usually.
Here's our former INTEX pool: NO MORE! Too much fuss with the Filter, the Chlorine, the Vacuuming, the Skimming, and the Electric Power usage for the Pump, My wife took care of all the pool Maintenance, but never dipped a toe into it! Harold (That's me floating with a Rum & Coke!)
We have the new little backyard pool set up now, and it seems to be perfect for just floating in the sun or taking a quick dip to cool down in this summer heat. This pool is much smaller than the one we had the last couple of years, so it is only 12x30, and not really deep enough to swim in; but easier for me to get in and out of, and fine for sunbathing and exercises. Plus, it uses a whole lot less water than the taller pool used. Anyway, I got myself another pool noodle (Rusty chewed the pink one all to bits !) and am finding pool exercises that work with the noodle. This way, on days when we do not go to the fitness center, I can play in the pool and do noodle exercises.
Bobby and I usually go to the fitness center just about every other day, everything permitting. Now, I have also starting going on opposite days with my friend, @Joyce Mcgregor , so I am swimming and doing water exercises almost every day. I am feeling better, my clothes are starting to feel a bit looser (good news !), and I am really getting good exercise each day and burning up calories. My Apple Watch shows that I am closing my fitness circles more often than not now, too.
