After having the Dinty Moore Beef Stew, I found that Dinty Moore was the name of the bartender in the Maggie & Jiggs Comics (AKA Bringing up Father). Corn Beef & Cabbage was all the rage!
Remember Mr. Bacciagalupe played by Joe Kirk (1903-1975), born Ignazio Curcuruto. Mr. Bacciagalupe is from a different time so I apologize in advance if anyone is offended.
