G'morning all... It's lashing of rain here..and it's expected to be on for the whole day, so I'm just gonna hunker down and stay home and do a few chores and nothing more. Tomorrow I have got another MRI at a hospital I've never been to in another county...so I have to mentally prepare myself for the journey... Have a super Thursday folks
I woke this morning to a grey damp miserable day, but it has since become sunny and pleasant, I am meeting my daughter Caroline for lunch at a restaurant called Bodega's one of three Mexican ones in Worcester. We went last year and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Cathy, Mike and Oliver my grandson are in Holland, after an overnight drive plus a train ride with their car in the channel tunnel. ................. so I am on my own until Monday morning now, I will enjoy time chilling out. Lisa in the meantime flew with her family to Dubrovnik in Croatia yesterday, for a 10 day beach holiday, which for me would be a nightmare they are enjoying it though, and it's in the 90s which Lisa loves. Have a great Thursday! Lisa's three grandchildren Lisa & Katya
The rest of my day went well, I walked into the restaurant in Worcester, it's about a mile and half, all down hill We had a light lunch of Burritos with pork and a beer ....... I hope your day is going well....
Good morning everyone! 103 today and will be for at least 10 days. Curves and Trader Joe's early this morning. Also..someone on the other forum beat me to this and Ive been saving it for tomorrow but I'm posting it today, lol.
Yes, I remember that from Hungary....I think maybe only the US does it my way....all other countries are backward. Just kidding.....
Yes...I also know military time very well...most of the clocks were set like that in Hungary. What I had more difficulty with was temps...Figuring how what the temp was in celcius...also my weigh...in kilos.. I had a rough estimate
My brain has switched to Celsius completely, but I still use stones and pounds for my weight and miles, the UK gave up metrication halfway so we have a mix strange mix
