Good morning everyone! We also have fog this morning and a high of 60 later. Feeling better and appetite is back so I'm sure my strength will be too in time. Don't have any real plans for the day just slowing trying to catch up around the house, not going to overdo it as I'm still not 100%! Hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning all, woke up late after a good nights sleep, we did have a midweek bottle of Isabella with our dinner yesterday so that may have helped No plans for today it's forecast to be a dull wet day at 6c Have a great day whatever you are doing.
The UK remains mild and very wet. This, I fear, is the shape of winters to come and is a very visible trait of climate change. We are inundated with images of people forced from their homes by flooding. Having been flooded out myself, admittedly by the stupidity of one person rather than rainwater, I can only sympathise with their plight, especially at this time of year. Not the happiest note on which to start the day.
LOL Tom...the UK?...well not here in the south. it's dry and almost sunny LOL but yesterday morning around 8am I looked at the temps on my phone while I was sat outside the coffee house before work having my morning injection of caffeine ...and although we had a beautiful blue Mediterranean sky it' was only 2 degrees.. brrrrr!!!! Day off for me today, and thank Goodness for it..I'm shattered to my bones, everything aches and I have a streaming cold into the bargain ....but I have 4 days off now, yeaaaah!! Chrissy.. I'm pleased to hear you're feeling so much better..
It's 5am here on Iowa's east bank, it's 48 degrees under clear skies. It's supposed to hit a sunny 60 degrees today. It's December and I hate it.
Ike you're the same as my husband..he hates the winter months. ..even tho' we're lucky to live in the south and with probably the most temperate climate of the UK...rarely any disastrous floods or deep snows like the midlands or north of England ..or Scotland..but the sheer fact of it being grey, and cold and getting dark so early in the day..almost dark by 3.30pm here at times..really gives him SAD!!

Good morning from a another dark damp December day it's 8c here at 8.30am, I slept well and we will go out for a walk and do some shopping for food later. We both need a haircut as well, mine will receive the Russian short back and sides, so it will be a bit chilly round the ears at this time of year. I hope all is well in your world as we ease into yet another weekend.
