Me too Gloria... I've been like it since I gave up work last year..drives me crazy I'm always moaning about it... I can get to sleep ok, but staying asleep is another thing altogether
Well, just talked to a Senior here this AM, out walking his older Beagle, that told me that him and his wife are moving back to Nashville, TN next year. The weather here is making them move back. Yes, we've had a LOT of rain lately and now we are in the heat of hurricane season with storms popping up right and left off of South Africa in the Atlantic. Guess they've got tired, as we have, of the heat and humidity as well. BTW, he knows that we are planning on moving out of Florida next years as well.
Totally understand, Holly. I know a good marriage when I see or hear about one and you've got it with him! Ours is just somewhat different, but still good. Actually to tell you the truth, Holly...…..you amaze me that you even answer, or tell me, some of the things you do. Some ladies would automatically say "none of your business". Guess they take "curiosity questions" different than you do. You are a very nice lady, just like my wife! Just wanted you to know that.
Good morning lovely people... It's a lovely sunny day..just right temps at 70 degrees. I have a few places I need to go later this morning if I can get up the energy.. ..it's been a hard week getting the gardens ready for the autumn, and we spent a lovely day walking for a few hours the other day with friends around the lake where we have our boats moored ..so I don't feel rested, but maybe tomorrow I will... The Blackberries and Hawthorn berries are fully ripe now, and have been for a few weeks, so walking along we were able to pick many to eat.. here's a few pics from our walk around the lake ...it's such a beautiful calm serene place and only 15 minutes drive away
You know, Holly, we have been told "people who own a boat are rich". These boat owners rich, or should I say "well off"? Of course, most people don't take into consideration how old a boat could be, like ours is a 1992. That's way off from a 2018, but there are still those that relate any boat owner as "rich".
I have been busy in the garden this past week, getting everything tidied up before I leave for Russia again in a couple of weeks. I have also been creating a PowerPoint presentation, (not my favourite occupation) for Lisa to give this weekend in Warsaw Poland, I had a bonfire in the lower part of the rear garden which got a tad out of hand, it escaped from the incinerator so it looks a bit like WWIII now Our next trip for Lisa's birthday in October is to Jerusalem for a week, we fly from St.Petersburg on a direct flight of around 5 hours, so that is something to look forward to. Hope your week is going well, another weekend coming up, how time flies The garden before and after the fire
Join the club Gloria, I can't remember when I slept all night, I wake up every couple of hours or so, just another reason not to grow old
Well not everyone who owns a boat is well off Cody that's for sure , many people have very old boats, but those in my picture are not older than 6 or 7 years old.. . I have no idea if the majority of owners are Rich but those boats cost mega £££'s as well as the mooring fees so unless people are living beyond their means then I would say that most owners are comfortably off financially!!
