I guess I think it's a she because she wears her heart on her chest. Us girls do that. Or maybe that's your heart and she wears it as a trophy.
Haven't been on this site for a while. As an FYI, I looked up this old flame on line about 8 or 9 months ago. She still lives in the same little town back in Ohio. No way I'd attempt any communication, but I just wanted to see if she was still living, I guess. I think she is about 64 or so now, and a grandmother several times over. Tried to find her on FB, with no success. p.s. - no wine involved today.
Welcome back again, @Hoot Crawford , and hoping you spend more time here this time around....... Even if you never connect with your long lost love again, I am sure that it made you feel good to know that she is still here on this earth. If you see information on her kids or grandkids, look for them on facebook, and she might be listed as a friend for one of them.
Like I said on @Frank Sanoica 's thread, It may be better to not make contact. She is 45 years older and so is @Hoot Crawford. Sometimes it's better to let memories be just that, sweet memories.
Let's see. My wife is my third love and relationship. The first one is married to a woman and is bipolar. She claims that angels talk to her and she even changed her name to what they told her too. Oh, she also cheated on her husband and served him with divorce papers as soon as his last college tuition check cleared for her son from another man's son. She bragged about how she played him. My second one became a crack addict and then a prostitute to pay for her habit. Had a baby with one of her nameless Johns. Kicked the crack and became a stripper who married one of her wealthy lap dance customers even though he is 22 years older than her. Her last email to me, before I changed it, was that she was heading off to help her daughter kick her crack habit. So much for past loves. I did hit the jackpot with my current wife. She put up with me for 46 years. Funny how heartbroken I was when my first too loves cheated on me. Thought the world was coming to the end. Instead it was the best two things that ever happened to me and resulted in the good life and marriage I now enjoy. Glad they cheated.
Several years ago I was reading a friend's post on facebook when I saw the name of one of my early loves answering the post. I sent a message saying "hi, remember me?" We've been facebook friends ever since and she came to see me in the hospital when I had my knee replaced. I introduced her to my wife, in case anyone is wondering.
Haha, yes, I was wondering ....at least you were already in the hospital in case your wife hit you with a frying pan.
I know that you have been here a few months now, but this is your first post; so welcome to the forum ! Glad that you are joining in the conversations here, @Horatio Smith.
