I baked a loaf Parmesan and Sun dried tomato bread yesterday , so I had a slice of that toasted this morning...deeelicious.

At 2.30pm I had a big bowl of Porridge oats... and skimmed milk....and just after I put all the shopping away I felt I deserved one Ferero roche chocolate.. :D

Since it's nearly 11:00 and I haven't had breakfast yet, I guess I'll skip it.

I prayed for forgiveness before I made this for breakfast this morning.
@Bill Boggs ...I was making breakfast for hubby fried some sausage and I was over taken by the Food Devil...and made gravy;). Had no biscuts so used little slider rolls....oh it was delish:)
Of course I used the grease from sausage
to make the gravy. It was heavenly tasty.
    I only ate one...but I ate real slow:D.
I is a happy camper this morning....if I drop dead come lunch time, I will have smile on me face:)

No smile on my face after my bowl of fiber one cereal (twigs) and my probiotic yogurtut at least it's healthy.:)

I eat this cereal because it's the only thing that keeps me regular...lots of fiber.

I notice when I skip a morning and eat eggs instead.

My wife has a smoothie almost every morning, and she puts a healthy tablespoon of Citrucel in it, as that is the only fiber product that doesn't produce gas. She uses coconut milk, a banana, and whatever frozen (usually) berries we have in the freezer. Have you ever tried adding Citrucel (or any other bulk product) to meals to increase your fiber intake?

My dr mentioned it and I tried it many years ago but it didn't have the same effect as my cereal.

I may try again because I really really don't care for the twigs. :)

I hate Fibre (fiber) twigs... can't stand them *UGH* ... I wouldn't be able to eat that at all..nor Almond milk, that's disgusting!!

I do have oatibix, , porridge oats , or mini biscuit weatabix with chocolate pieces... (I'm so bad), but I also add chopped dried fruit, and skimmed milk... but I couldn't have it every breakfast I'd never be off the loo o_O

Well I still had the twigs this morning.

Looked yesterday at the store I stopped at after my dr appt and their citrucel was too expensive and they didn't have a big variety in size choices.

@Don Alaska ..are Metamucil, citrucel and benefiber interchangeable?

I looked at the fiber amt on the bottle and my cereal seems to beat their numbers.

Fiber one has 14 grams per 1/2 cup and 60 calories.

Don't remember exactly but the citrucel had about 5 per tbs...I'd have to take a few spoonfuls...right??

I started eating Fiber One a few days ago and with sliced bananas and almond milk I don't find it tastes bad at all. And I know I need that added fiber too. :)

Now that cereal tastes so much better, and you still get fiber. So much better than the Twiggy stuff. Explore Chrissy, there are options everywhere.

I eat fiber one...that's what I call twigs...because that's what they look like.

I don't care for it but then I don't care for any cereal...was never a cereal lover.

I rather have eggs, bacon/sausage or ham, potatoes and toast than cereal. But, during the week, my wife has a bowl of cereal before she goes to work. On weekends, we will head to a restaurant and I will have the same, but she will have pancakes or waffle. I love ether a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and toast or eggs benedict with country fried potatoes and toast or a small order of biscuits and gravy. And, got to have a couple cups of coffee with cream and Splenda.

    IOW, I do love breakfast!
