Good morning! Weather here is in the 70's all week. I was hoping for a little cooler weather here.

Today my job is to get grandson up, fed breakfast, make his lunch and then at 7:30 drive him to the high school.

That's where it gets out of my comfort zone....too many kids and cars and traffic.

Then I'll pick him up at 4:00 from the YMCA..he goes there on mon, wed, Friday to work out after school. It's right by the HS.

    Then we'll stop for food...

This is the easiest day...other days he has golf lessons ...so I'll be sitting at the country club for an hour and half every late afternoon. That's when I'll do the treadmill at their facility...maybe.

    I chickened out yesterday. :)

Except for a hair appt sometime this week, while he's in school I have nothing going on.

Too hilly here to walk which is too bad because the weather is perfect for it.
Have a great day everyone whatever you're doing. :)

    Hi guys..

Still raining here, and horribly dark..but it's supposed to get better after today.

Called the GP, and asked for a repeat prescription for my meds, he emailed them to my nearest pharmacy and within half and horn they were there waiting for me.. Free of course!! ..sometimes when this country is getting me down, I just remember those small things which aren't available anywhere else.. ( not that free meds would be a small thing to many countries of course)...

When I went to the pharmacy I bought some Ginger cake at the bakers nearby, I haven't had it in years...so I'm about to slice some and have it spread with butter and enjoy it with a lovely hot cuppa tea...

@Chrissy Cross . are you feeling better now that you have more things to occupy you at your daughters?...did I miss something , where are your other grandsons? :)

That is what we are having for weather here, too. We went from hot and needing the AC turned on, to cold and rainy and in the 50’s and feeling like winter almost.
I packed away most of the summer clothes, and brought out the warm sweatpants and sweatshirts and am sitting here bundled up in a warm sweater besides.
When I go to the fitness center, I am spending more time in the hot tub as well as my swimming.
Winter is definitely on its way, I think. Time to bring in the outside plants.

So far we 've had no need to wear any clothing with sleeves.. I'm sitting here now in a sleeveless top, and crops, despite it pouring with rain again outside.

We were just saying last night how lucky we are to get to the middle of October without having to put the heating on. I hate having to put the lights on at 5.30pm tho', ad from next weekend it will be even earlier when the clocks go back.

I read in the papers yesterday that we're forecast again this year for a hard winter, and snow might arrive in early November here in the south, and late October in the North. I hope they're wrong, because last year was the longest winter in memory for us, with not a bit of Sun until April....

Good morning! Today the High School has their late start, so don't have to rush around this morning..yay.

The weather here has changed slightly and is warmer than I expected, so don't have too many cooler clothes :(

Around 80 the next few days...in fact doesn't get cooler until the day I go home, just my luck..as usual. :)

It doesn't get dark here now until about 6:30 but that will change soon.

I don't Park my car in the garage here and yesterday when I got in my car around 2:45 to get grandson, the temp in the car said 108!

Can't imagine what it would be in Fresno on the hot days since I don't park outside.

    Have a great day!
