    The key word is “desert” which, without widening the parameters of the query might denote that my life would be at an end in a very short period of time so.....

    I would miss not being on a desert island to begin with.

    desert? food would be the first thing I would miss. Desert means there is nothing to use to catch fish. Starving to death would be my first concern. I would not want my wife here to starve too

    Let's just for talkings sake say there are fish in the sea and fruit on the trees... let's say I could fashion a rudimentary shelter from nranches or similar,... what would I miss aside from everything in my life..?

    Definitely a doctor and dentist as was said before... but more materialistically..

    The internet

    Sun lotion

    obvs loads more but that for starters

    What I might miss would not necessarily be bad. Taxes, ignorant people fast foods, bad policeman, unjust laws, and many more to think about.

    Wouldn't have to worry about clothes, seems you can survive nicely
    with one pair of pants and one shirt. Gilligan wore the same red shirt forever.

    Not something I'd miss, but was thinking I would probably do better
    at surviving, if I'd paid more attention to that Tom Hanks movie.

    Something about coconuts and building fires and a guy named Wilson...:rolleyes:
