purgatory *) I didn't explain anything but let me just add that the idea of this thread also was to post words that describe in a nutshell how you feel on a particular day, what you associate the day with, rather than words you may like in general.
Hmmmm, that might include one of mine. Don’t pounce on it, “Whack” it!! Then, including the initial word, They pounced on the mouse, then whacked it hard! It was indeed purgatory for the well being of the home.
Is there a noun actually? It's amost only used as an adjective like in "the halcyon days", which is what Holly seems to have meant. I like those days in August and usually refer to them using this phrase.
Haha...I have a list but I'm too listless to do anything on it. I'm always like this the day after.... Not drinking but driving home.
Yup, it’s a place. In Catholicism, it is not only an action but an actual place whereby people wait until they are accepted into heaven or........ Some need more prayer and cleansing and some just say howdy and go to the pearly gates whilst others have a short layover and spend the time looking for the fire extinguisher prior to their southward journey.
Yes, I spent many years when I went to catholic school praying for the poor souls in purgatory. To be honest, I don't think I actually did but then I confessed my lie...so....I'm Good!
