I know that I am late to this conversation, but I have to admit that my feelings about Donald Trump have turned 180 degrees since 2016. Knowing some about his business antics, trying to buy out the owner of a small apartment building in New Jersey, so that he can extend a parking lot for one of his hotels. Strong arming a small community in Scotland so that he can build a golf course, and so on. I spent the better part of the year supporting, first Dr Ben Carson, and Ted Cruz, and swore I would never ever Ever vote for Donald J Trump to be my president. Then it came down to just two candidates, Trump, and Clinton. Being a woman, I suppose that I should have supported the idea of the first female president, but I could not in good conscience vote for that vial, evil person - so, I cast my vote for Trump.
I was glad that he had won, but only because it meant that Hillary hadn't. Would this decision turn into a similar nightmare to the one of Barack Obama, who promised Hope and Change? Time would tell. Within just a few months, President Trump began to keep the promises that he made to the American people, starting with choosing a Conservative judge to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, then by cutting taxes. We watched unemployment fall, and consumer confidence sore. A second Conservative judge was nominated, and manufacturing jobs returned to the US. MSM vilify our preisdent, but he has done more for his country, for Our country, in 2.5 years than BHO did in 8! I will definitely vote for Donald Trump in 2020, without hesitation.

There is quite a number of #walkaway videos on Youtube; all of them are worth watching. I believe there is a real movement afoot here and it gives me hope for the future of our country.

And I understand that the unemployment is now the lowest since 1969, but you won't find that emphasized in the media...or even mentioned.

Well, isn’t that because people are working two and three jobs and still can’t put bread on the table? :)

I used part of your post to look up your claim.

Hate to admit you were right.

The job juggle is real. Many Americans are balancing two, even three gigs

The lead line and subsequent lines read as follows.

The job juggle is real. Many Americans are balancing two, even three gigs. The number of workers with multiple jobs reached an eight-year high in September.

Then I noticed the info was from 2016 before Trump took office. Then I paid attention to the lead lines. The 8 years were during the Obama years in office.

It's taking time to bring higher paying jobs back to America. Unlike Obama taking credit for lower paying service jobs Trump is trying. The good news as was pointed out doesn't seem to be a favorite topic for MSM.

WASHINGTON—Unemployment in September hit the lowest level since the Vietnam War, with little indication it is going to shoot back up in the near term.

What a difference in Sept. reports.

Here’s the real deal on it though. AOC made the statement thinking that a person who has 2 or more jobs counts as such. It doesn’t.
All that is counted is that a person is working and has nothing to do with how many jobs that person has.
Whether AOC was trying to baffle people with Toro poop or show her ignorance is up for grabs but the facts are that unemployment is at a very significant low since whenever.

It is a wonderful statement however when we see that Trump’s initiatives have not only made a “Uge” dent in the unemployment records but people are also able to capture more than one of those jobs.

I don't think it's all that unusual for younger people to work more than one job. I have had two eight-hour jobs at the same time on more than one occasion. I didn't have the skills or the credentials to make a lot of money per hour, but I did have the time and the energy to work twice the number of hours. In fact, a large number of EMTs and paramedics work for more than one company or teach or do other jobs on the side. Working more than one job is not necessarily an indication of anything other than that the jobs are available and there are people willing to work them.
