Good Morning Ina... Thanks for asking about my MRI results. I actually had 2 MRI's for different things recently...but the one for my back we know is a double herniated lumber disc.....but there is secondary problems after I had my fall from a Height at work in July, and that's what the last MRI was searching for, to see the extent of the damage to my Coccyx which is what I landed on...similar to a typical horse riders' fall, which usually in the great scheme of things would just be very painful and take a few months to clear up by itse;lf...but because I have the DHLD already we already know it's affected those...so I get to see the consultant for the results of my Spine MRI on the 13th of January!! What are you taking for the pain in your back...I hope you manage to get some relief from the pain chikadee..it's absolutely no fun is it?
Good Morning all..on the very last day of 2015... We've all made it in various ways by hook or by crook to the end of another year....thank the good lord... It's very wet, very windy, and very dark out there now at 6am..and I'm just sitting having my Tea before getting ready to leave for work. Forecast is pretty much for rain all day...and I have a long day ahead of me today. Have a wonderful new years Eve whatever you may be doing...and God willing I'll see you all in 2016....
Good morning everyone at the end of 2015, it's windy and still dark at the moment and a lot colder at 6c ( 42f ) with showers forecast. I feel I need to get out for a walk, as the weather has been so stormy lately I have stayed indoors. Have a great day and celebrations tonight if you are seeing the New Year in.
Good morning from Iowa's east border. It's 25 overcast degrees at 5:30am on this New Years eve morning. A 9MPH breeze is blowing across the city at this hour. Two of my sons visited me yesterday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so I didn't get much done. One of them had a successful rabbit hunt the other day. While rousing bunnies from the brush, he flushed out an albino pheasant. Said he didn't shoot it because he couldn't tell if it was a male or female. We are not allowed to shoot the females. I have no plans for today. No parties, no celebration. My glucose readings are finally settling down, now that Christmas is over and all that holiday food is gone. Gonna try to keep it that way. So, one more time, have a very happy New Year.
It's quite mild again, but very wet again. I think that those of us in the east of Scotland have been fortunate. I watched the BBC Scotland news last night and the entire bulletin was taken up with floods, floods and more floods. It is particularly bad in the south-west of the country, around Dumfries and in the north-east around Aberdeen. The centre of Dumfries is essentially a river. I know only too well the damage that water can do and can only offer my sympathies to those afflicted. Sorry for the lack of cheeriness, but it's depressing seeing this happening.
I was wondering how you were getting on in Scotland Tom, you were obviously on the right side. The news reports look pretty awful and sadly it may well become a regular pattern in our weather now.
Your "lack of cheeriness" is okay, Tom…because it IS sad. I can only offer my prayers for those afflicted.
You have been in my thoughts as well Tom, and am glad you are faring well. The flooding situation is horrid. I bought a lokai balance bracelet for my Wife at Christmas. I didn't know what it was, and thought it was for physical balance. The beads are colored, with one white, and one black at opposite ends. The White bead contains water from Mount Everest, and the Black bead contains mud and water from the Dead Sea. The idea is that when we are at our highest we should remain humble, and when we are are at our lowest, we should remain hopeful. May the New Year be a hopeful one for you and yours.
Good morning everyone! Feeling blah today. There is also bad flooding in our Midwestern states, people died. My son is okay where he lives but he's says its bad all around.
Here too, in NC Chrissy, but no deaths. Flooding is significant enough for alerts on my phone but it's nothing like your's and Tom's. Stay on high ground!
I'm in California and okay, Lara...was talking about my son in Illinois....he's near the Mississippi and the Missouri Rivers, also the levee that was breached in St. Louis. Think the Midwest also had tornados this past week. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/midwest-missouri-illinois-record-flooding-mandatory-evacuations/
Good Morning, y'all! I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and is ready for a great new year! I'm just back from a nature walk, so I'm uploading pics to edit. Hoping I'm finally over the month long + series of migraines, and my hand and finger are healing from an injury. It's in the 50s, and that's my kind of winter, although I wouldn't mind a little snow, as long as I had everything I needed here and wouldn't be out on the roads. Stay safe, everyone!
