Nope. All of those lakes are part of the Rockies (inside the mountains). The one lake, for sure that we will go on, is Boyd Lake. Boyd Lake is in a Colorado State Park. Then there is Carter Lake, but Carter is in a valley and a fairly steep hill to climb to get to it. When we lived in Colorado before, we went on Chatfield Reservoir). Done a lot of trout fishing and "beaching" the boat there. Went on Cherry Creek Reservoir as well, but only done cruising around on it. Both were in a Colorado State Park. Have also been on (twice) Horsetooth Lake and that waterway was pretty deep (150 feet or so) compared to 45 feet on Chatfield or Cherry Creek.
N problem at all @Craig Swanson . a natural progression of a thread I think... and Tasmania is absolutely beautiful. I've always wanted to visit, I have a friend who was born and raised and still lives there!!
His name is not Jon? Tassie is the only state I have not visited. That will be remedied next Spring hopefully.
Many decades ago I had pen friends in Australia--a male in Tasmania whose father was a ferry captain in Hobart, and a female in NSW whose family operated a dairy farm.
My friend lives in Devonport...., she takes her vacations in Hobart... lol... in such an insular (albeit beautiful) place, that they think driving for 3 hours is like going abroad!!
