I am fair skinned, easily sun burned even with sun screen. I have moles in various degrees and places, that is nothing new.
But as I have aged it seems more have popped out along with some other hideous looking - whatevers.
At one time had some of the ..what are these things- checked out.
But recently a few more have showed up in areas that are difficult to examine myself. A full examine by dermatologist would be costly.
Do any of you have these pop up moles and other weird skin isuues?

Its more common than assumed Gloria
Every year it seems I get at least a new one, usually Spring, early summer
My Paul, who never had so much as a blemish, is getting them now also - damn nuisance they are
They say if they grow or get a roughness to them, to have them checked - so maybe your darlin' can keep
an eye on them for you

Other than the tinea versicolor I wound up with after a sunburn last year, I get a few more skin tags than I remember getting. For them, I just clip them off as they show up. It’s just a pinch with the nail clippers and a little blood but nothing to make an issue of.

Yep, I have moles and have had some of them removed. Some were particular and one might have developed into cancer. For years I have had skin screening done once a year. My health insurance pays for it every two years. It's not that expensive, between $20 -30 which I pay in between.

I've gotten a few of those little red mole-looking things in the past few years, mainly on my torso. I think they are called cherry angiomas, and they are harmless. Getting older is just one thrill after another.

I think I am a major part of my Dermatologist's Retirement Plan. I am fair skinned and past exposure to sun has produced basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers that I have had both radiation and surgery to remove over the past four years. I go tomorrow for another 90 second radiation to my forehead.

We have both 30 and 50 Coppertone Sunscreen in our vehicle and boat. Neither of us have "fair skin", but can get somewhat red if we don't use the sunscreen.

Both of us have some "age" marks and skin tags, but not many. Look pretty darn good for 71 and 70!

I tan easily and have been exposed to sun a lot in the past, as I used to be an avid hiker, and now do a lot of gardening. I have had things I was concerned about and was examined by dermatologists on occasion. I have a couple spots that have been deemed "suspicious" but were excised and biopsied...and found to be benign.

I had a few skin tags where my collar rubs my neck. I went to the dermatologist. She took out her pointy little scissors and went, "Snip, snip, snip." It only stung a little bit. I could have done that myself a whole lot cheaper.
