We have some kinds of mullets here. One I know of is the Virginia mullet. It's a salt water fish. I think we may have fresh water mullets, too.
Where I am, I have a mallet. but no mullets ... Only lakes around here.. some very small and some huge like lake Huron... Mostly Walleye, Pike, Musky, and various types of Trout..
July 1st is our wedding anniversary.. It will be 22 years of peace, trust, and love.. It is both of us our 2nd marriage.. July 1st up here in Canada is our Canada Day where every city, town and village will have celebrations and fireworks.. When I proposed to Annmarie, she told me ............ "Honey, next time I get married, I want to see fireworks and stars"... Well, we got married on July 1st where she could see her fireworks and stars.. Every year as far as that goes.. This year is no exception as Massey will be having all kinds of celebrations including quite the fireworks display at sunset..
Well, I didn't forget it as it is on Monday, but, there isn't anything special planned ... We do have all kinds of events going on in our village..................... BUT ....................... They are forecasting heavy rain and thunder storms for the day as well as windy... Who wants to go out in the rain to do something, especially at the beach/park... Fireworks at sunset out in a large field.. Even if it stops raining for a while, can you imagine what the mosquitoes will be like??? Totally impossible to breath, let alone be outside... There is NO amount of repellant that will protect you.. Netting is the only thing and we both have net suits, but is it necessary to use them ?? Hard to breath in them.. Besides, where's the enjoyment at a time like that.. We will be staying home safe and sound and talking about the times when we first met.. Hopefully get some phone calls from kids, family, and friends... Big splurge.. I will make us each a cappuccino coffee in the Tassimo machine....
90 degrees here yesterday... No AC ..... had to have just standalone fans and ceiling fans on.... We spent the whole day working in the garden, I must have drunk a gallon of iced water! Today it's mid 70's sunny and a little white fluffy cloud, but still very humid..so the fans are all on again. Have a lovely day for your wedding anniversary even if you're staying at home
