Well now there's a face only a Mama could love if ever I saw one. My, my! ;)

Although it's hard to tell, I assume it's a camel because of the hump reference. Oh my, am I brilliant or what?! hehe Anyhow, I've heard that they have extremely bad breath. Anyone have first-hand knowledge about that? Not I... I wouldn't be very fond of their slobber either, so I'll just stick with interacting with our very spoiled kitty and leave it at that!

Good morning everyone, another day of rain here. Looks like El Niño is right on track for California.

Although it's good for our drought, we can't seem to deal with too much rain. Even a little rain and we flood at our intersections. Plus lots of accidents!
Not here but it causes mudslides in other parts of CA. I'm staying in today anyway. Still haven't tried out my new vacuum cleaner...maybe today but I'm feeling a twinge in my back that is a precursor to a back spasm for me, so I'm being careful. I'm not fully stocked up on back spasm food, which are TV dinners. Plus I only have one muscle relaxant leftover from a previous spasm. Hoping it's not going to happen.

    Have a wonderful day! :)

Good Morning, Y'all!! Brr, it's a bit coldish here, which means it's warmer than a lot of places. I don't have long pants on yet, though, so I'm chilly. I finally got my nature walk in yesterday, and the sun was shining, so it was nice, although the wind off the bay was pretty cold. The sun broke through a while ago, but it soon clouded up again. I got a few New Years packages mailed off the other day, so now I can focus on cleaning up after the holidays. I haven't gone through all of the pictures I took yesterday yet, but here are a few. marsh grass and shimmering water small to post.JPG heron frolicking in surf small to post.JPG

Yup It's absolutely lashing down here too terry...and still almost dark ...and it's 8am...

....... I would usually be already on the way to work by now...but Today, I need to visit another office , so I don't have to leave until about 10am...and I should be done and finished on about 4 hours if I'm lucky...wooohoo. :D

As I'll be leaving work early * fingers crossed*, I'll be able to call in at Waitrose, and get my shopping on the way home... which is something I'm always too tired to do on a normal working day.

Have a good day everybody...hope everyone you meet is kind to you.. :D

I nearly ended up working in Bracknell many years ago, when ICL had a big place there. I got the chance to move to Oxford instead, so I missed out on Bracknell's charms...

Lol charmless may be a better word Tom, its always felt a completely soulless place to me, though they are in the middle of rebuilding the centre demolishing the usual 1960s concrete mess.
You had a lucky escape going to Oxford in my opinion Tom ;)

We are a few miles outside the centre the house backs onto Bracknell Forest, (officially Swinley Woods) covering some 2,600 acres which though a Royal forest you are allowed free access, and we often go for walks there.

Good morning UK friends. How about some good cheer?
Just grilled up some breakfast for you using a teensy bit of Guinness BBQ sauce made with Guinness Draught…

Good morning all, from the east bank of Iowa. We have a balmy 35 degrees at 4:30am with rain coming. TV was pretty sucky last night, so I fell asleep at 8pm. Got tired of watching Mike and Frank buy junk. None of the movies looked good, or I already seen 'em seventy eleven times. Gotta start staying up longer, somehow.
In other times, I would go for long walks around town. Not a good idea anymore. Can't do it anyhow.
Well, gotta check my lottery ticket. It could be worth one half a billion dollars. So, if you never hear from me again, I either croaked, or I live in a remote place far, far away.
So, behave yourselves. If you can't behave, blame it on someone you don't like.:D

This is where I'd have ended up working if I'd moved to Bracknell.

Good morning from sunny but cool Floridas right coast. Has been rainy for the last couple of days and rained most of the night. Better weather coming, so I'm told.

    Good Morning everyone...

10 Am on a very cold frosty but Sunny morning in the rural shires near London...it's my day off, and later today I have an appointment with my consultant at the hospital!!

Hubs has taken a day off to be with me, ..he never usually would but he's a little concerned about the current medical situ, so it'll be nice to have his support while I'm there rather than be alone as I would normally be when I see my medical team!

This week at work has been particularly gruelling, to the point where I I am actually giving some consideration to leaving..the work is very hard with long days and I feel that I bear more than my fair share of it...so I'll have to think carefully about my next step!!

Terry...I have to agree with you about Bracknell...although 40 miles outside London, it's like it's grimmest Cousin...Oh dear, not a pleasant place at all.!!

Lara.. I'll take your breakfast...yummmy..:D..but not the Guiness thanks...errrk!!

Have a good day folks...whatever it brings, may it make you smile at the end of the day!
