Hi to you Bill Boggs! Glad to see your post, and know you are OK! some folks have missed you, and have been asking! Cheers!
Thanks, Joe. I took some time off to bang my head against a wall. Although hard-headed I did manage to raise some bumps. Glad you're still kicking all right.
Who'd have imagined that a book about English grammar would be a massive seller? Nor me, but it was...
Remembering one of my school friends who thought anything that ended with the letter s required an apostrophe... She was filling out a form, and wrote her father's name: Charle's.
Lol, that's funny! Sometimes autocorrect will put an apostrophe in wether it needs it or not. Sometimes I catch my typos and correct them, sometimes I don't. Life is too short too worry about that for me. I'm on my ipad a lot and by the end of the day, my finger is really killing me with the touch screen and I could care less if there is a mistake. If you can read it, that's good enough for me. I'm not in writing class or sending in a resume so I think we should be more tolerant of mistakes. Many reasons for them besides not knowing proper grammar or spelling. My rant for the day.
