@Holly Saunders I don't know what it is about car AC units, but once they go out, they never seem to get back to normal. Luckily, the weather will be cooling down in Sept. and hopefully, it won't be so annoyingly hot. I have no particular peaks or pits.....just the nice uneventful peaceful day you don't enjoy until your, well, older.
Up all night...Pit...cant get comfortable..Pit Yesterday was awful in more ways than one..Pit...but not life threatening..Peak Aside from my usual gratefullness of being alive and well... I am still kicking Peak
oooh co-incidence @Gloria Mitchell I had a similar night..terrible, couldn't stop coughing, kept me awake most of the night. Might have got 2 hours very disturbed sleep, if that! Peak today.. warm and sunny.. been sitting out in the garden with hubs having our lunch Pit : deep threatening thick clouds moving fast in from the west... Pit : Noisy neighbours are due back from their 6 week trip.. our peace and quiet will be shattered in the garden again.
Not my day - but all the things that have happened are just frustrating. Flat bottle coke, took back. Bought two great looking peaches, mealy.Froze them - will think of something. Called a doctors office and after five minutes waiting hung up. Went to cardiologists office..waited 15 mintues to be taken back. Got back there waited 30 mintues for PA to show up. Just little things ..annoying Umm- Peak- um got everywhere safely. No tickets...um that about does it for me today.
@Gloria Mitchell Getting home with bad fruit is just annoying!! I love apples. I have the hardest time finding some that aren't too mealy or the core already has brown around it. I even know how to shop for them and can't tell till I cut into them. I have found my best luck comes from Winn Dixie. They are more expensive, but certainly worth it.
I've bought produce that wasn't good - a red pepper that looked very fresh, yet was bad inside. There's a money-back guarantee but it's inconvenient to return produce. I don't shop often. I bought frozen cauliflower that was bad and waited many months to try again, and it happened again. First time buying bad frozen vegetables. Peak: Got in and out quickly getting the car serviced. Pit: none.
May be my first post here: Pit: Unintended consequences of forum participation. Disheartening. Peak: Wonderful lunch at Riverside Resort Buffet, half-price, $5.50 each. Baked Cod, Cabbage Rolls (we called them stuffed cabbage), Roast Pork, Roast Turkey, Baked Chicken, Beef Terragon, BBQ Beef Ribs, all sorts of veggies......I did NOT partake of all of them! Frank
@Gloria Mitchell Indeed it will, if I quit eating like a glutton! The Glutton is a small, voracious mammal, so-named due to it's eating habits. It is ferocious and more powerful physically for it's size than might be expected. Now here is a restaurant I would probably go broke in! Frank
Yesterday ... Pit:...felt pretty crappy yesterday morning and was due to go out with hubs and some friends for lunch... also my daughter hasn't been well for a while, so she called to tell me she' was having bloods done. Peak: Beautiful sunny day, I forced myself to go and we had a lovely day, lunch al fresco in the sun... then for me and my 2 lady friends, a little mosey around a clothing store, and I bought myself some new things...while the guys wandered around the garden centre discussing the merits or otherwise of garden implements.. Then back to the pub garden for a coffee, ..just a lovely afternoon...
Peak :...Glorious sunny day, had my haircut (3 inches off) ... then went to the farm shop for some organic meat and fruit. Pit before I could finish my shopping I could see on the video of my Ring doorbell what looked like a delivery man just leaving parcels on my doorstep, so I had to rush home in case they got stolen, only to learn my husband had spoken to him via the video camera (while he was at work) ,,, and asked him to leave the parcels with a neighbour, so i rushed back for no reason at all. Some photos I took from the farm shop and garden centre..it's such a relaxing quiet place, I love to go there..
@Holly Saunders ...sorry you and daughter have not been well. I actually had blood work done today also. Have been in the worst pain from ears down to toes for a month. No clue as to why. Its almost like a rampated attack of severe artnhritis ? Not sure how to explain. For whatever reason some better today. Other than no sleep last night...all is well ..for now.
ohhhh no Gloria, I'm sorry you've been in such pain.... It's bad enough to have the OA in my hands, and my knee, but to feel that type of pain all over must be hell, I do hope they find what's causing it... xx Thanks for the best wishes for my daughter and me... she's more of a worry for me, because she's so fit. She doesn't smoke or drink, she keeps herself trim and fit, so it's a concern that she feels so awful , and has done for some weeks now. She's finding that after just 3 hours work she's having to sleep for 2 hours before she can get back at it... I feel she's totally exhausted tbh, but I'm hoping they find something that can easily be remedied.. the worst of all is when one feels so terrible or as in your case in so much pain that the tests all prove negative,. Where to go from there is always the question!! feel better soon my friend...
