Those that 'know' everything are just not convincing, I tend to switch off
Opinion is fine, I like to hear people's views, not so, if they're steadfast @Micki Pembroke
As an example, I believe in Brexit, those that don't, can never tell me why they want to be ruled by a foreign bunch
of beauracrats - whereas I can give plenty of reasons why I don't ………

It's hard to imagine a grown person not knowing better than that.

We heard him remark in similar fashion to quite a number of different occurrences, and quite often. As an individual he was inwardly one of the least caring, most vicious-minded persons I've ever known. Yet, he raised two girls successfully, served in the U.S. Navy, and was always willing to lend a hand when it was needed. My wife hates him. I tolerated him, because I knew that now and then I would need his assistance one way or another.
