"As far as one millennium ago, North-eastern African people and nearby Arabians were using coffee beans to make some kind of delicious fermented, alcoholic beverage." "This is known to them as Kawa, Kahwa, Kahwah, Gahwa, Guhwah or Kahawa. To us, it’s Coffee, but without the alcohol. With this recipe, you can make your own batch of Kahawa/Congolese Coffee by following the simple recipe below. It’s easy to make and you can choose between two similar yet slightly different methods. Either way, you’ll soon get to enjoy your cup of original Kahawa coffee from the Congo." https://coffeecapsulesdirect.com/congolese-kahawa-coffee-recipe/ (LINK)
Guess I’m having a bit of a rough time this morning. Somehow, whilst trying to enjoy a cup of plain old Columbian coffee, my brain went to organic coffee and then didn’t even pass go and went right to Civet Cat poop coffee. The question is: Who the heck needed a cup of coffee so bad that he or she searched through the cat’s kitty litter box to find coffee beans? I mean, there were those poor times when I would use the same coffee grounds 2 or even 3 times but it never, ever entered my mind even once to search through cat poop for a coffee fix no matter how desperate I was for a cup of coffee!
