I see i certainly live in the wrong part of the world, a cool 84...nice and breezy, wouldn't see those until our 7 months of winter is gone..
I have quite a few high school classmates, that I graduated with, that still live in northeastern Indiana. Most could afford to be Snowbirds, or live permanently in Florida, but simply choose not to. One couple have a condo in Orlando, but only rent it out...…..have never lived in it.
I know, there is always somewhere better in this world to live, so we think. Complaining just seems so much easier. .
I think Canada is the only country using celcus, +1 now, think that's the same as 38. What is the smart reason for celcus in Canada, ....uhhhhhhhh don't know. .
We use Celsius...it'll be interesting to see if we go back to using Fahrenheit (and pounds and ounces) when we leave the European union... It's 12 degrees C at the moment outside (raining hard) , but 22 deg the house. I don't even have the heating on, and I'm sitting here in a sleeveless vest top, and crops...
@Holly Saunders I wish we would go back, but will never happen. Sounds like you have a nice warm and cozy home. .
Our first freeze tonight. Fifty-seven tomorrow; thirty-eight last night. The comforter went on tonight. Turned the heat on tonight. It's cool and clear, no wind, low humitity. To celebrate the cool weather and the next two or three months, I laced up a pair of dark gray low quarters with red laces.
Ohhhhhhhhh crap... did it again...clicked once too many....i guess... think this storm crap has gotten too me. .
Brrrrrrrr. We're having our first dip into the 30's this week. I'm going to have to wear socks with my shorts for a couple of days.
We are possibly getting down to 40 this weekend!!! You know you lack real excitement when getting to wear winter pajamas over the weekend is what you are looking forward to.
It actually WAS cold over the weekend. It's overcast this week, but quite mild. I like windows open. It means I'm not using so much utilities. How is everyone else's weather?
