Very hungary ! Last night started the prep for my colonoscopy in the morning. I have to start second phase around five today and finish five hours before my appointment in the morning at 9:30. In the meantime am very upset with daughter who is living with us What is purpose of raising kids when they grow up and do the opposite As miserable as I think I feel...still have it good compared to most- but sometimes you just have to complain out loud The Peak comes tomorrow when I can eat me a good sammich and this is over.
@Gloria Mitchell There have been times my daughter has had complete spit for brains. It's frustrating, especially when it may ultimately require funds from you.
Pit of my day... my precious teenage grandson was involved in a roll-over wreck; totaled his little SUV. Peak of my day... he was not seriously injured and there were no others involved. (He lives in the Hill country and swerved to miss a deer.)
Peak - am through with all the colonoscopy prep and the exam! Yea ! Had a great fresh baked chicken sammich with Doritos and ice tea...yummy. Only Pit is trying to catch up on sleep and the dang home phone keeps ringing
I saw you had just posted on another thread and I was coming here to ask how things went today! Then, you posted before I did. Glad to hear you got all that out of the way. I don't know what is worse, the actual procedure or the preparation for it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
Pit: Wife had to see her new doctor this morning. He ordered a mammogram and bone density exam for her. This stuff always spells "money" for us, if she hasn't paid her $185 Medicare deductible yet. And, her supplement won't pay unless Medicare does. Peak: We picked up our boat today. It was "winterized", meaning we don't have to worry about the engine freezing up anytime during this winter. Took it back to the Boat/RV Storage. Another Peak: Will be heading up to Cheyenne, Wyoming for part of this coming weekend to check it out for our next place to live. Without a doubt, we know that Cheyenne and/or Wyoming will be a better place for us to live than here.
I'm just curious as to what you think will be the difference, seeing as Cheyenne is only 43 miles away? Will it be worth all the driver's license, car registration, moving expenses, etc. again? (Seems that you "knew without a doubt" that Colorado was going to be nervana a few months ago.)
I could poke a bit of fun and jester @Cody Fousnaugh and his move back to Colorado. However he does not always take joking around as intended, sooo..I will pass
Peak...am feeling much better today. Pit hubby is sick with very bad cold so off to the doctor. Another dark drizzled day... No biggie for me today
