I am concerned but there's not much to be done about it. I hope he's okay. I believe he has a wife, so I don't think he's living alone.
I no nothing about Alaska but his posts were very illuminating, gave me a good insight about the State.
I was worrying about her, too; but even though she is not posting much, she does check in with the forum to read from time to time and was last online here yesterday. Unless a person has their profile blocked, if you click on their avatar, the little box that pops up shows “last seen” at the bottom of the information there.
I am aware of the "last seen," but I think Lulu is in stealth mode. Anyway, I hope she's doing OK and I'm glad she has been around. Thanks, Yvonne.
We should use this thread more.....like a real roll call. It might help not feeling compelled to make a random remark about a new avatar or asking how someone is feeling in a thread about something else entirely. I like free conversation on threads, but it would be nice to have all the more personal exchanges in one place. I'm nosey like that.
I can't think of anything good that would have taken Don Alaska from us, as I don't think he was unhappy. I believe he was having some medical problems when he was here last, so I am concerned. There isn't anything to be done about it that his wife hasn't already done, but I keep hoping that he'll be back with a story for us.
Has anyone emailed @Don Alaska? I wonder if he has his forum settings to get email notifications of responses to his threads?
I tried it, but got no response...not sure if he's got his mail set to receive emails, or if the worst has happened and he just can't reply.
