Good morning Holly and all you other friends, I am up and getting ready for the 2 hour drive to Bracknell to pick up Lisa and then on to the airport. It's a cool 4c and dry here. Have a good Monday.
Good Mornin', everybody.... 6am on a brrrrrrrawwwwww frrrrosty mornin'..pitch dark as usual, and I'm just having my cuppa tea before getting ready for work. @Ina I.Wonder you made me LOL with that comment about the dinner theatre...., and Terry what great fun your night sounded, we don't have anything like that around here, I wish we did. Chrissy, I'm sorry your mum hasn't made any improvement bless her sweet heart, but hopefully she's stable and going to improve soon. Terrry have a safe and wonderful trip.... Mondays are not usually most people's favourite day of the week...especially not mine, lots of extras to do on a Monday morning as soon as I get to work..but hey, I'm working from home tomorrow (tuesday) so I'll be able to take things easier then , so onwards and upwards, and hope for us all a great day!!
Thanks Holly Hope your anniversary dinner was good Holly and have a great .............well at least bearable day at work today
Hi Terry.. I never got going out to the anniversary dinner in the end...a couple of reasons but mainly because of the snow....again...we have to put if off until next week.......thanks for the good day wishes, in this job I need them..LOL
Good morning ya'll. Im glad I caught you before leaving for Sri Lanka, Terry. Have a safe trip and ENJOY! It's 27 degrees here right now and the high will only be 34. Not used to this…BRRRRR
Yay, it's Monday. Boo, it's -5 with a 10Mph breeze, making it feel like -20. Supposed to hit the balmy 12 degree mark later. Snow on the way tomorrow night. That's ok. It's warm and dry in my building. I feel for those who have to be out on days like this. Never used to like Mondays, until I retired. That made all the difference. Behave yourselves, no ice ball fights. You'll put someone's eye out.
Good Morning, Everyone! Brrr, it's frigid out there, stay warm everyone. It was a gorgeous sunrise this morning. I wish I'd crawled out of bed a few minutes earlier, and made it down to the beach or pier for pictures. Maybe tomorrow. Just in case y'all were wondering, here's a list of what's open and closed on this holiday Monday. http://www.ibtimes.com/mlk-day-2016...-offices-dmvs-plan-martin-luther-king-2267830
Good morning everyone! Woke up at 3:30 AM to the sounds of my dog throwing up! He doesn't sleep in bed with me but does sleep in my room. This is the first time he's thrown up in a carpeted room, much harder clean up. Not his fault though and he is very good about running to the door when he has has to throw up so that I can let him out. Raining here today but not too cold, high of 60.
Good morning all .... sorry for the doggy wake-up call Chrissy. My two dogs ( labrador and bichon) have a bedroom to themselves at night, and I try to make sure that they aren't in there too many hours at a time. I keep their door open, with a gate across it. Haven't had any mishaps lately {{knock on wood}}
@Chrissy Page , poor Pickles, they don't have a way of saying, 'Mommy get up, my tummy hurts'. Izzy hates getting sick, or having to poo in the house. If he has an emergency in the night time, he will walk up the length of me and sit on my chest staring at me until I do whatever he needs. My old girl Amber sleeps on her cozy fake fur blankets on my side of the bed, and Izzy sleeps on the pillow next to me. If one of them makes an unusual sound, I wake in an instant. I guess I'm still not use to living alone. How long did it take you to feel comfortable living alone?
